  1. I found this link usefull, it has many posts on alarm problems with the 04-05 year but within the posts I found one of the procedures below for getting it working again. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=10530659 buzzer chirp on/off 1: press unlock once for 5 secs 2: press both for 2 sec I'll check my History for further procedures that may help. Let me know if it gets yours working again. Cheers Lee
  2. Hey, I was in Prosport yesterday and they had an 05 Scooby that had just been rolled 1 hour before on the Mancunian Way. The car was in very bad shape! Prosport are the bees knees, hope you all have a good day tomorrow, I may pop down and watch. Cheers Lee

  5. Steve, Did you say you fitted a dump valve when you installed the flamer kit? If so which do you recommend I fit, i'm after a dump valve that will give the best sound as close to a wastegate chatter noise if that is possible. I understand the noise on a WRC is from having an external wastegate, is there a dump valve that will give me a woooshy chatter noise? if you know what I mean! What does yours sound like? Cheers Lee
  6. Just watched tonights Top Gear and fell in love wityh the P2. Shame they are not going in to production with it, then again it wouldn't have mattered, I wouldn't have been able to find the £40k price tag. No understeer and very fast. Cheers Lee
  7. Hi, On the way to Japfest, my alarm lost its chirps when being armed/disarmed. After talking to a few people, it seemed as though the ECU may be at fault. After searching on the web for 2 days this weekend, I found a glimmer of hope. I found other Scooby owners (mainly USA) had the same problem all of which said the alarm is programmable to set the chirps on or off. Using the key fob I found there were many different ways to set it on or off which was dependant on the type of alarm. To cut a long story short, I found one of the combinations of key presses worked for me! I had to disarm the alarm, get into the car, put the key into the iginition, turn the ignition on and then open the drivers door and arm the alarm. The Alarm will beep once and it will now be back on again. Hey presto it worked. It now beeps twice when setting and once when disarming. Other combinations that didn't work were:- Disarm the alarm, and hold the panic button and arm button together for 5 secs. or Just Press the panic button whilst the igniton was on. Well chuffed now! saves me buying an ECU. Cheers Lee
  8. Love the Mods you have done. It sounded really nice today and certainly drew a crowd, although they may have left with singed eye brows [] Cheers Lee
  9. Hi, I have often wondered about installing a Decat and have my car Re-Mapped. Approx how much is it for that to be done and what sort of BHP Increase would I get? I have even contemplated buying a hi flow Cat (off EBay) and installing that without the re-map is that worth doing? I'd like to acheive 300bhp with my STi, but don't have much cash spare, how much would it cost me to acheive the extra 35bhp? I would have thought acheiving an extra 35bhp isn't that hard, but then again I don't know. Cheers Lee
