  1. Thanks Andy, I'll keep poping on to the site every now and then just to keep upto date. Cheers Lee
  2. Hi CADS, Well I have done it, the car was sold yesterday. It's been a pleasure to meet you all and SIDC will always be a part of my life. I've just bought myself a SAAB 9-3 Convertible which is a different kind of 'Boys Toy' as Jenni would say. I have really enjoyed meeting you guys and attending the events you have set up. You have made the last 2 years of my life very interesting and fun and can only thank the hard work you have put in to the club to make it enjoyable. Keep up the good work with the club and no doubt I will see you all again in the future, the next Tatton maybe?? Farewell Lee
  3. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=105487 Not sure what to get if I sell it. The friend who sold me this car bought an EVO FQ320 in 2005 brand new. He is now selling that and I am tempted! However I am asking a lot for my car with a view that if it sells great!, if it doesn't then great! no rush, no urgent need to sell up just opening my options. I'll keep you posted. Cheers Lee
  4. Thursday or Friday night is best for me. Monday's can be ok too.
  5. All sorted now! Jenni drove it well with a few hiccups i.e. rolling back when starting off nearly hitted the car behind, trying to change gear using the brake as a clutch! Luckly she didn't grind my gears and realised soon enough. Having drove the car myself today and inspected the body work for door dings, I am home and safe. In fact the clutch is smoother to use now, she got rid of the slightest hint of clutch judder that the car had developed over the years. Almost as if she wore away the mucky deposits on the clutch plate! I may let her drive it again mmm. I think not! Cheers Lee
  6. It is good that!
  7. Love your Avatar, how did you do that?
  8. I'd be up for a meet in September.
  9. My wife drives an Automatic A Class and to our shock we found out we had been driving it on the road with out a valid MOT cert! To get it MOT'd ASAP I have booked it in at Mercedes in Bolton tomorrow. The problem is I have to let Jenni drive my car to work allowing me to finish work early in her A Class and take it for it's MOT. Now, She drives an Automatic ! and hasn't driven a manual car since she passed her test 10 years ago! I told her to take me out in it tonight so I could assess the clutch control mmm I can see a trip to Prosport in a few weeks! Lucky she drives to work on the M/Way so lets hope it all goes to plan. Cheers Lee

  12. Sorry to hear the bad news. I'd wrap everything in bubble wrap if I were you
  13. Do they have a rolling road, is that what he means?
  14. Just spoke to Prosport and created this link http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/1016547/Sh...ad.aspx#1016547
  15. Have to agree with Bob it was a little bit rubbish.
  16. Anyone know of a rolling road session coming up soon, preferably at Prosport in Stockport? My car feels like it's missing some power and I need to determine if it's me or the car has a problem. Cheers Lee
  17. WRONG TIME Should be 18:00 - 19:00hrs Copied it from Sky and was pasted incorrectly.
  18. It's definetly correct, I have just Sky +'d it. Now recording. Are you using NTL/Virgin? Maybe they don't have it.
  19. sky.com. click the link on the original post I made. I wonder if it's wrong then.
  20. WRC - Greatest Drivers Sun 12 Aug 17:00-18:00 ITV4 In three decades of competition, the WRC has produced some great competitive drivers. This programme features some of the icons of the sport, from Juha Kankkunen to Colin McRae.
  21. good that isn't it.
  22. Hi Bob, I have! What I did was installed a cigar lighter behind the dash and plugged the tomtom wire in to it. I then used tape to hold it in. I did this because the Tomtom's Plug has mircochips and other bits and bobs inside to control the power. If you cut the wire and simply hard wire it to a live connection it will probably blow your tomtom up. Hope that helps Lee
  23. Does the SIDC V2.0 still have post ranking?

  25. I'm still one, although I haven't paid the £10 subscription yet!
