The ECU will adjust to the idle and cruise conditions but run a bit richer on boost due to the pressure not dropping off on the uprated pump. Thats good for safety though. Andy

The std bottom end is good for over 400bhp when properly tuned. I know of at least 6 cars that have run for years at this level. A lot of N2O isn't a good idea on a small turbo as the extra exhaust gas that is created has nowhere to go, the wastegate is only sized for the turbos maximum flow normally (some even struggle with that) The result is usually short lived :eek: Andy ps, does my old WRX RA qualify for this thread

I have to say I'm the same when on the 'customer' end of the phone, I expect calls to be returned. On the other end however, as the service provider, it sometimes just isn't possible to do everything you would like to. I am as guilty as anyone for not responding as soon as I should. Stuart for example has been in need of work in the past and on some occassions was fitted in after hours. On other occassions however I'm sure he got frustrated due to not getting me on the phone when he called. As in most forms of business, the work does not come at a steady rate. If your business is expanding (like Dastek) then it is even more difficult to ensure you have the appropriate resources in place at all times regarding customer service. Employing someone else to man the phone during lunchtime for example just isn't practical from a cost perspective. Harvey will do you a set on exchange for around £100 Brian. My WRX headers are 'Harvey ported' He makes an excellent job of them, there is a good few hours work involved even when you have all the proper cutting tools and know what you're doing. Andy

It would have been good to compare the drop off in power at high rpm which is far less abrupt now. The uppipe cat imposes a limit on the maximum EGT that is safe to run, this in turn requires the fueling to be rich at higher boost. (if you melt the pre turbo cat, the turbo eats cat at 120,000 rpm) The uppipe and downpipe cats cost approx 20-30bhp and similar torque. Andy
