I can recommend The Wheel Specialist in East Kilbride, he powdercoated the wheels on my sti from silver to black and also done my brothers merc and the finish is first rate , it cost £40 per wheel + vat and thats them doing the tyres and re balancing. They also do a same day service and can also do a painted finish if preferred.

Just came across this deal on Groupon ,which i thought might interest some on here. Its looks not a bad deal for 80 minutes driving especially when you consider the price of fuel. Need to be quick though as it finishes tonight. heres the link http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/glasgow/exhilarate-scotland/234306 P.s , i am not related in any way to this web site or the hire company.

I can 100% recommend Diamond Auto tints who done my wifes Mk7 Fiesta a few weeks ago and the job is perfect, they had also done my mates R32 a while ago and again the work was first class. The boy-racers also give them a good write up on the Strathy cruise forums,if you check the named section. They are based just off Cathcart road at Rutherglen.

Voted , cmon lets get the Scoobs up there -
When you change the discs , i would just make sure the pistons aren't seized as corrosion on the disc face can suggest this.

I've used this before to seal rear hubs on a bus and it done the job fine, although the sump gasket will be enduring a bit more pressure than the hubs, according to the tin it should work. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...tegoryId_165691

Stolen Silver Wrx - N898 Als - Scottish Borders
john mac replied to briforbes's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Its getting worrying all these scoobs going awol.Gutted for you guys who have lost one. With regards to the gb270 , how can they steal a car of that age with the immobiliser and coded key, i'm just curious as i honestly thought my MY 04 would be reasonably safe from the threat of being stolen , but obviously not. -
Just logged on for a wee browse and then saw these pics, . Arghhhhh, bad enough that happening ,but to have to stand helplessly and watch.Totally gutted for ye man. Keep yer chin up fella ,and i'm sure yer next car will be even better!!

Been away in the lorry for a couple of days and just caught up with whats going on.I didnt realise there was now more of these on ebay until i read yer post big man, makes ye feel sick to the stomach that these scumbags are profiteering from what was a great tribute to the weekend when we celebrated the life of our hero.I can't even begin to imagine the hurt this brings to Grant and Imy after all the work that has been done and still ongoing.Don't be disheartened, as the majority are decent people. P.s A note to anyone selling these to profiteer.......I hope yer hooses burn doon!!

Kudos to the home owner, how he takes it all in his stride, imagine if that was over here , they would be on the phone to claims direct before the wheels had stopped spinning.. Finally The Limited Print Is Ready - Shop Is Open
john mac replied to micra_wrc's topic in Scottish Scoobies
:waving-santa: Totally gutted , i missed this, in the same boat as you Neil, been away for 3 days , just logged on and find there sold oot. Surely if there is demand for them, then they could have done more, after all it would be more money for the jerviswood trust .555 prints is not a lot when you consider how many cars took part. -
Nice link there Stephen, that is one awesome car which the video captures very well. Nice to see somone with excellent car control trying so hard in such a high spec car.

Sorry to hear about the stage being cancelled ,totally sucks ,ah bet a few people would like to have got their hands on the nob jockey who phoned for all that lot to come out !! Anyway, we decided to try and make an earlier stage so went to Drummond Hill, first time out trying to capture moving objects with new camera ,so be gentle http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3177/289299...0ec47673f_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3028/289215...5fc100d0e_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3210/289217...df51521e3_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3053/289220...7f08238fb_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3069/289304...41968de93_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3119/289217...57aa350c6_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3246/289220...ba8d16cfe_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3226/289304...126e4e17e_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3102/289221...3dbaff921_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3209/289216...060364e04_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3002/289300...c49bd8631_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3097/289301...51dcc147b_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3180/289216...55561ab6d_b.jpg

Like said before ,well done and thanks for the best weekend i have had in my 9 years of Scooby ownership. Grant,Imy and Andy, you should be very proud of everything achieved and how well organised this event was. Also a big thank you must go to Prodrive.Leaving Lanark market was so emotional, i was bursting with pride but also had a lump in my throat as it brought back memories of the memorial day and i am sure Colin was looking down from above all weekend with a grin on his face at the sight of all those scoobies!! Thanks again.
