  1. WTTC m8 I've been on here a while but just got a nice MY03 WRX 3 weeks ago
  2. Another spotted tonight - Black WRX I think wagon joining the M8 at Hermiston Gait as I was (about 8pm) - I was just waiting till we got thru the lights on the roundabout then I booted it a bit but I just want to let the driver know I was not trying to race!!! My wife wanted to see how my new car was so much faster than the FTO!! Now she knows what a turbo feels like I did see the scooby and was not gonna put the foot down just in case he did think I was an a***!! lol The wife made me do it guv.... If you are on here, did you see me swerve to avoid white van man veering out of his lane? I was watching him before we got close but still had to swerve a bit to avoid contact... Also another WR Blue WRX like mine - 53 plate in Stockbridge in Edinburgh. AND a silver 05 plate that pulled in behind me at Haymarket station today at the drop off point. Phew...this is much easier on the FTOOC as you don't see as many FTOs on a daily basis lol
  3. welcome m8 - car looks great and I really do like those wheels....also just got myself a scooby a few weeks back so maybe see you at a meet soon
  4. I have just gone from my FTO which had HIDs to a MY03 WRX and the brightness seems fine but I don't like the yellow hue. I'd also be interested in knowing what Bulbs people upgrade to for fogs, side-lights, dipped and main beam.
  5. Newage WRX in East Mains Ind Est, Broxburn (parked up) and a Black wagon with black alloys at the A89 roundabout into Broxburn when I was going down to Greggs at the Jet garage
  6. it does look quite cool but as the page was loading slowly I only saw the gold and would like to see a whole car done that colour alone! Very nice m8
  7. I am working tomorrow then we finish at noon on Fri to go for our meal, thats us till 4th Jan too! I work in Publishing and we finished the Jan Feb issue a month ago hehe...all quiet now - beats the old days when I was a kitchen porter and worked Xmas day etc...
  8. Perth, Australia that is...dunno if they have that level of modding in Perthshire yet Some mad cars there!
  9. lol - I just noticed this line after the pics! Please dinnae!! I said to the wife that I was getting a modded WRX so I wouldn't need to do it myself... I do quite like the bigger spoiler but I don't want to have too much STi styling in case people think I am making it look like something it isn't...even if it has more power than a standard STi FMIC eh....hmm...and does a TD04 spool up faster? I'm still being a wuss in the car (overtaking etc) as I don't quite know when the turbo will kick in (even tho I have a boost gauge). Just taking my time learning what it does in each gear. Will do some more pics soon btw I finish work on 21st and I am off till 4th Jan so I can see an early morning shoot being in the pipeline soon
  10. yep guys, I am already thinking about another spoiler but I promised I'd no go mad on mods Mind you. I could just give my kids oranges for xmas I have a few shots of my FTO down at some new housing estate in Dalgety Bay (was when I was visiting Dastek a few years back.) and it looks right out onto the Forth so I may go back there and do some more. I am hoping to get some rain again so I can replicate one of my favourite pics....wasn't even planned - I just saw the huge puddle and thought I'd try a few pics http://pmacfto.smugmug.com/photos/124562042-M.jpg
  11. I'm new to Subaru ownership too but have been in SIDCs forums for a few years as a "lurker" I'm in West Lothian so maybe meet you at a scooby mini meet sometime soon
  12. yeah he did mention what he was hoping to get next
  13. I said that to him about me being on the forum but he said he would prob not be on again much anyway.
  14. cheers guys I am in Livingston so I am not too far from Fife if you can tell me of some good locations for a shoot... http://pmacfto.smugmug.com/Cars check there for some pics of my FTO and various other cars from meets/D1 drift/BTCC at KH etc
  15. Just quickly parked up and took a few shots but will be going out to look for somewhere nicer to do a shoot soon Dull day too so not the best for lighting conditions. Some of you will no doubt recognise the car
  16. hehe aye m8 I know
  17. popped along and never saw any scoobies That's 2 attempts in 2 days to say hi to at least one member!! lol Ah well, gave the car a quick jet wash at Morrison's and headed home.
  18. This does the rounds every now and then but they change the prices I always wondered what 300 million people the guy was thinking of.....there's only about 55 mil in the UK It's the duty that hits us in the UK. So the other 245 million people you contact won't give a feck about the price here. One of the women in the FTOOC just got back from Argentina where it is 35p a litre!!
  19. Nice guess I'l have it along to a meet asap
  20. I've just bought a MY03 WRX car so will no doubt see u about round here (and at the West Lothian meets) but I am just looking to get back in touch with Pete as he will be a good contact for parts as he knows his scoobys pretty well by all accounts. I'll get plenty advice on here no doubt too
  21. magic m8, cheers I got my FTO there about 4 yrs back so thought I'd look him up Anyone know the name or have a numbr for the place?
  22. I am trying to get back in touch with Pete from JVS (Powervehicles) who used to be up in Straiton near Ikea in Edinburgh. I think he continued doing stuff for cars whilst Andy went out to live and drift in Japan If you are on here m8, gimme a call If you hadn't taken me out in that RA all those years ago I may not have got the scooby bug! lol Only now have I managed to get one
  23. RB5 Dunno if this is of any interest to you guys but this car is sitting in a scrapyard in Fife - not sure why as it's not as if it's been crashed? I know the RB5 is a Limited Edition so I thought I'd give you a heads up....hope it's of some use!
  24. http://pmacfto.smugmug.com/gallery/1622799 Here are my pics of the day. I know some are blurry but it was my first time doing panning to catch cars on the move - it's bloody hard! Scoobies looked good - guarded by TheSquirell of course
  25. Not a scooby but worth a pic nonetheless
