ASP supplied all my brake bits excellently too - lines, fluid, pads etc.
Anyone know a good place in the central belt to get discs skimmed?
Brian.

I'll stick with IE - AND ON A P.C.
-
I get the drift - I am OK lol.
I like IE - its' the best I have found for use, ease of browsing, linking formats with other Microsoft stuff etc.
It is also the standard package used by most places I have worked in.

Cheers S - I'll just avoid smilies/smiley's for a while

Thanks st3ph3n.
Switched that off - a bit better but not as defined as IE6 was - quite happy with IE and don't see a need for any other - and this is what I use at work, suits Front Page etc.
Brian (BAD SMILEY HERE)

Just using it now - some things seem ok but font is harder to read (blurrier) and it does not do smilies on here - ie [
]
Anyone else using it?

Good looking site Col - I'd make more of the menu's I think.
Also - interesting spelling on the front page: "All of our pictures are availble to purcase, just check out our gallies and if you see a picture you like, fill in one of our order forms. "
Must have been the Bandit who spell checked it for you [

Nice to see some friendly banter again.
It is great to see so many from from Aberdeen and surroundin areas on the forums - a few years ago, it would never have been like tis - it was Glasgow meet or no meet when I joined, gradually it expanded. But then again, SIDC was not really a force in Scotland - it was scoobynet.

Hearing about the work everyone has done to their cars is great - but most don't really care who has the biggest power - its' only pub talk. Well done to those who spend small, large, enormous, ridiculous amounts - whatever - on their cars to get good power - I hope it makes them happy. I like hearing about the work, not the hot air that follows sometimes.
Personally I won't be taking mine on the rollers like Ally, Andy F said the car is making good power safely and I know the history of th car. And its' fookin' quick enough for me. That's not to say I won't be skint spending a fortune on it - but not for number - for me, for reliability and for the car.
As for peeing 30ft - maybe that could be the next competition - its' pretty hard to measure how far hot air travels [

Does it seem to be holding up OK? And did you clean the claipers with anything in particular before painting?

I think I'll do black with white lettering - or black with yellow or red maybe - or infact Silver lettering may be ppropriate.

What Speakers in a Newage ??
in Scottish Scoobies
Posted
TOTALLY accurate - the acoustics are terrible. After the dynamat, new speakers, good headunit, etc still way below par should have spent the £600 on something else!
Buy a golf or an old Volvo - much better for Audio.
You need spacers for the front speakers (decent ones) - the ones from a Vauxhall Corsa fit - that's what I used.
