Thanks to all the guys at AWD for their work, time and coffee (Padro []) today.  A thorough job done - oil & filter change, RCM Oil Pump, Cambelt change, various gaskets, coolant change, clutch pedal adjustment and some counselling for Paddy too (he can be seen speaking to the car in this picture  "Is he treating you OK?" []

Very true - my car has flaps sourced through AWD - not as good as the Scott Lowe, but seem to be doing alright []

10w/40 for me - recommended by Oilman (use Silkolene Pro S) and used by Subaru (Shell Helix normally).

The 60 is for harder driven, heavily modified cars I  have been told.

a de cat downpipe is a must, standard dowpipe is utter shit, also get a decat centre section and u will see good power gains and the turbo will also spool up a lot quicker.

True words - but this car is a 2.0 N/A car non turbo. []

It did that - however I read on here (or Scoobynet) about the Green filter being a bit heavily oiled for the MAF or something like that. 

I have a cleaned and de-oiled K&N in my car, but previously had an STI panel filter which is pretty much the same price but is not oiled.
