New bonnet and bumper repair but at least you're unhurt - it could have been much worse [

Hope you get it sorted OK.

Theres my old impreza which was tuned at AWD, now in the good hands of Brian, aka WRXMANIA, It did not cost a fortune to tune and set it up, although it was not cheep, however it was done right, and has beat many a car on the 1/4 mile which has had twice as much money and work done to it and maybe more.
I'll vouch for that [

Probably only some close up pics to an expert would be able to say. Useful chip I believe for a classic - some of the techy folks like DRB5, Coulty, Squirrel etc should be able to give you pointers.

There is a group buy getting off the ground in the general For Sale/ Wanted / Group Buys section for a Zero Sports Cool Thermo. I have one on my car and it seems to do the job just nicely. I am not sure if they are all the same size, but I'd assume they would be (maybe different temp ratings?).

I get my Octane plus from AWD in Perth - always in stock.
Also, Millers Oils is in Hillington Industrial Estate - you could try them direct?

I have used AWD several times - always on the ball, good customer service, coffee and don't mind you watching while the work is done. And they carry quite a good selection of parts in stock too [

Don't forget your SIDC members discount.

Good on you. Still quite a few of us old folk about. What number was your STI V1?

And tell your insurance company - my last car had rear tints (fronts were removed eventually). Mine were done by Pentagon in Stirling - very good and they even removed my fronts free when the legislation became clearer.
The rear tints on mine cost me more (in insurance increase) than my backbox and spoiler change did together. That was with elephant/admiral. Now with Keith Michaels with my current car - they would have no worries about a few tints on the back. JDM car but no tints [

Fit an HKS "Fuel Cut Defencer" and get it set up properly - with an FSE power valve too and a Fuel Pressure Regulator for good measure, and an electronic boost controller and a new Walbro fuel pump.........oh, sorry dreaming there. A fuel cut defencer should do the job.
Brian.

I have a Helix Organic clutch on mine and it seems to do the job nicely.
I wonder if adding some more oil to the gearbox will smoothen out and protect my 2nd gear when cold? Any thoughts Wilky?
