I used the H&S bung on mine (Jap Can) and it was much better - cost £60 though. Still have it and the can - may sell them both or just the bung???

Your car is an import and the law states that imports made before Aug 95 dont need a cat, same as a UK car built before Aug 93.
Granted your car may be running a bit rich with the lambda issue, but when thats sorted you shouldnt fail if you are in that catagory.

The one thing about the H+S is that if you decide later to do more than just the backbox, like the deresonated centre section, then it really is pretty damn loud. I'm considering getting a bung made up for mine once the decat is complete. Just for using during the week.
st3ph3n - I have an H&S Bung for my Jap Slash back box - that they made for me - cost £63 delivered - might sell that if interested - barely used - had the box C&C' d before I replaced it eventually with a Scorpion/Prodrive.

They're the same pads as mine too!!!!!!! Getting paranoid now.
I painted the whole caliper black and then using a piece of sponge, wiped off the paint to re-expose the white underneath - I cleaned them thoroughly with brake cleaner first though.

Same wheels as mine too - except mine were specified in white - you'll need to get your brakes done - mine has been waiting for AGES to get done.
