Right - that's it - I'm going for the angled-look - away to garage to root out the H&S!!!!!!!!!! (And the earplugs)
PM me with the tyres/price/location/size of the tyres you got? Maybe see the beast at the weekend if there are 5 minutes.

I think some UK cars can lower the seat but not imports IIRC. Roof rails?
-
If it is a saloon it does not lower.

They are the business! [

True - just done lots of searching and asking suppliers - and they said 215/45 as it will fit and improves the comfort aspect.
I'll be going 215/40/17 due to the suspension height and travel I have.
-
I am sure they said new - but I could be wrong. They would obviously take your old one to sell as a refurbed caliper or whoever does the exchange.
It would take quite a while for a caliper to become faulty again so unless I was planning on keeping the car for a seriously long time, I would not consider the stainless parts - I'd rather fit AP's or equivalent in the long term.

Maybe I need 40's too then????? [

Speak to AWD - they are available on an exchange basis I am sure - less than £100 with your old caliper gets you a new one! Refurb would be madness at that price, other than the cheap refurb of the seals.

215/45/17's is what I am going for - after doing reading, browsing, asking (including Extreme Motorsport) they said the 45 profile every time. The wisdom seems to be the handling and comfort is just that bit better - one even said the 40 profile was madness when a 45 will fit. My car is pretty low as it is and my flaps sit almost on the ground - they scrape on the pavement lip (which is dipped) to my driveway [
]
I am looking for 45's although the 40's are a good bit cheaper.

Where can you get the tyres for those prices? And what are they?????
-
Woul not fancy cleaning those wheels either - that would be a tootbrush job all the way [

Note the obligatory "16v" stick on chrome badge on the spoiler. Very similar to putting Turbo on your sunstrip IMHO.

Good advert. Shows its' been well looked after.

looks superb fee but as said get the tyres cleaned up
Iain, whats the best or what do you use for tyres,i always get the spray stuff that only lasts about 1or 2 days,or is this normal,i'm lucky if i get time too wash car once a week ,is there anything that lasts that long for tyres?
Swissol Pneu - not cheap but is the business!
-
No they don't but mine are 15's - Gus' are 16's so they might????? Don't think so though. Mine just clipped the edge of the caliper [
] Otherwise, I'd be sticking with these light 15's.

Looking good Fee - have white myself - who done the refurb?

Good response [H]

If only 4 pots would fit under them.......................
What wheels are you getting??? I have been debating for months - my anthracite newage ones would look good but need tyres for them....
-
My brakes are as good as my four pots were on the WRX - Mintex pads, Brembo discs etc and properly set up - but putting the brake gear on it (with the wheels etc) will make it immense!!!!!!!!!

Yes - see it all the time - never waves - tried a WIY on here before.

Pagid RS 4.2.1 or Ferrodo DS2500 - most people first choice is either of these - proven time and again. EBC Red Stuff Ceramic also good but don't last too long I have heard, but cheaper.
