  1. I stole my second link from there earlier []
  2. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Autos...e.photopanel..3. It's on Edmunds now with real looking shots, so it must be official. Longer and wider - not what I was expecting.
  3. Working this weekend. Will be up for a visit in a month or so though.
  4. Peter, if the bling oil caps, high pressure radiator caps etc. are on the cheap then you know what to do [] Bit of a cusco man myself as you know.
  5. Good numbers Steve. But you can't wait to get home.
  6. Dave, earliest hawkeye is likely to be either a 55 or 06.
  7. £475 fitted for the Clutch Peter. £70 extra for the flywheel. Think that was right.
  8. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/Pro...p;pcode=SPA358L That's the one I have Al. They call me the human cannonball because of it. Sometimes I lie awake at night and cry about it.
  9. Firing up the car at 7am to head to the station wasn't the best thing in the world with the full decat and megaphone back box. But rest assured I'll not be turning up at knockhill or runs or anything with any sort of bung in place. Oh and the sound pressure meter could probably be borrowed for a bit of testing [] Edit: Colin it's not mine, but my mate Paul who helped out with drilling the backbox has it. I'll have a word and see if I could borrow it.
  10. You'll notice I never said what the 85%-90% was of did I? Performance wise - yes it doesn't appear to spool as quickly as before. But the bung is for during the week when going to the station and not bringing attention to myself. It'll definitely be off for any runs, trackdays etc. etc.
  11. Fitted the H+S exhuast bung last night and now the roar is somewhat subdued. By somewhat I mean LOADS. We got a sound pressure meter and tested without the bung first. At 6 foot range holding the engine at about 5k it was 116dB! With the bung in place it's only 101dB, which is a huge improvement. So with the bung in place you can quite happily sit on the motorway at 85%-90% without feeling like your brain is trying to escape out your ears. Huge improvement and with the low boost mode it makes it a good daily driver. Then with a 10mm spanner and a bit of wiggling I can well and truly bring the noise []
  12. I'm not sure about my opinion. Initially I was completley meh, but now ... hmmm. From the side I think it actually looks pretty good. The front and rear less so. Also in total agreement with Grant regarding the potential of the car with the wheels at the corners, not half way up the sides. There is a saloon and obviously the STI number to come as well. I was initially pretty miffed at the hawkeye, but it's really grown on me, so maybe this will too. If they remove the lexusised lights at the back.
  13. By me. But hardly anyone here reads it!
  14. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1230198 Leaked at last. God bless the mags for breaking embargos.
  15. It's alright though Peter. I can drive []
  16. Alan, the small turbos hit full boost very early. I've got 1.35bar by 3K now.
  17. Andy, you'll only really notice most of those suspensions mods when you get really close to the limits of the current setup. Good geometery and the dropped ride height (for style too) is perfect for most applications.
  18. The only difference on the 06+ cars is that the individual lengths of the downpipe and cat pipe are different to the previous years. The combined length is the same, so a full length decatted or sports catted downpipe replacement from an 01-05 car would fit ok.
  19. Do you think mine would run on Satay Sauce peter?

  21. 1600x1200 here [] The front splitter really sets the front end of fantasticlaly well. Just need that APR rear diffuser now []
  22. John, if the car is mapped on regular then you run it on regular (or better). If it's mapped on v-power then you run it on v-power. If it's mapped on v-power with 10% methanol then you run it on that etc. etc. etc. I'm sure if it would run on milk then you could map it on that!
  23. Welcome to the club and the forums.
  24. Oh I forgot to add earlier that the car looks stunning in white.
  25. It's in the car video clips Cal []
