  1. Hell no. If I had the cash I'd have either the Varis GT wing, the Do-Luck T-3 or the huge Cusco GT wing that the Team Orange cars run. I just think the high level STI spoiler and its replicas are absolutely horrid. Passable on a blue car, but not on anything else. The Scott Lowe S203 replica wing would look fantastic on Noel's car.
  2. Really nice Noel. Don't waste it with the shopping trolley handle big wing though. Keep it stealth.
  3. 2001 onwards WRX and the 2001-2004 STIs have PCD 5x100. The 2005 Onwards STIs have PCD 5x114.3 So they will fit no problems Jen.
  4. Centre section for an 07 is the same as all the new age centres. Only difference in the 06-07 exhuast systems is the downpipe and cat pipe are INDIVIDUALLY a different length to the 01-05, but combined make up the same length. If that makes sense. You will be able to get one from all the usual exhuast bits sources. I've got a miltek centre fitted to my car.
  5. Just noticed that on the BBC news site. A true scottish legend who isn't as praised as he should be, whilst drunken ex-footballers are held in such high regard. The man was a complete legend, have a read at the entry on wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Clark I think the line - "He apparently had difficulty understanding why other drivers were not as quick as himself" sums it up completely. Why do we not have racing drivers with character anymore?
  6. Nice one Mrs JC. But you should have gone for the mapping yourself, it's half the fun!
  7. The santa cruise article went in, hopefully in the next issue then.....
  8. http://jalopnik.com/photogallery/08subarui...=thumb1280x1280 - that really works for me I have to say.
  9. Nice George. As much as I hate my dads merc I'd love to have one of the AMG'd top end models. In silver too. They annound the new CLK63 AMG Black Series today at the new york auto show. That's got carbon fibre flared arches and all sorts of goodness. Me likey very much.
  10. Andy, somehow "stealth" and your car don't really seem to fit mate.
  11. See I think the subtle small pink decals on the Black paint work relaly well. Not one for the debadged look at all.

  13. I don't think Car Model is particularly relevant unless you're distinguishing between one owner having two cars. I think we'd all be kidding ourselves on if we thought putting the model number on really meant anything. We go from the subtely modified (or stock!) to the stripped out drag monster and the lightweight sprint car at the top. If we started listing models I think we'd need to start listing mods too!
  14. Cal, is it the original clutch? Mine suffered the cost of a day at Crail and that's how I ended up having to change it.
  15. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/02/new-yor...reza-wrx-sedan/ Now, I'm liking that.
  16. If you have a legitamate problem with a dealer then just name them. Gav agrees and he works for one! It either allows them to be publically named or the complaint isn't valid and shouldn't be posted at all.
  17. I'd be surprised if it affected people with existing insurance. You're probably paying enough for them as it is. It doesn't say ALL insurance companies either. Remember the club has an excellent arrangement with Keith Michaels insurance which quite a few of us are utilising. The article appears to be typical of the daily record in that the jist is right, but it's light on the facts, and the tone is of the scaremongering the end is nigh head for the hills lock up your children and stockpile your tinned foods style. I don't think it'd be wrong to say that some of the older ones are possibly falling into "the wrong hands" which in turn does make it more difficult for people who want a good fast car on a limited budget which they can enjoy RESPONSIBLY. Hopefully most of them will remain with people like those in the club - proper enthusiasts, no matter whether they're in a '92 or an '07.
  18. Happy Birthday Imy. I hope the squirrel got you something nice. Like a weeks holiday from him!

  24. http://feeds.autoblog.com/~r/weblogsinc/au...g/~3/105255277/ FAKES! Lies lies and more damned lies. We've all been had. And I'm to blame. Well no, NASIOC is to blame. Yes, lets blame them.
