  1. I'm going over in the morning. Full report tomorrow
  2. Imy, you got big versions of your ones. Need the full size non-shrunk ones for the calendar. I really like that one of mine with the fog in the background, but I am biased.
  3. Oh man that 3 door is sweet. It's got a bit of a shooting brake sort of feel about it. Maybe even a bit of a bigger BMW M Coupe, and that thing was off the rails mad.
  4. Crap news Dave. If you're doing mileage then definitely the right choice to go elsewhere mate. For the first year and a half of owning mine i was doing stupid mileage and it was the completley wrong car for the job and at times I felt like swapping for a derv. Get yourself something sensible for a while and who knows in the future you might have enough for a wee weekend bit on the side
  5. Please do Neil st3ph3n AT (remove this too for those spam bams) st3ph3n dawwwwt com.
  6. I tell you what I'll take those pictures that Neil has sent me and I'll order one up later on. I can judge the quality when it arrives and we can then if it is good we can finalise picture choices for the real one for sale.
  7. The domain Powerchipit.com was recently returned back to the pool, so I assume the business went out of business. Never been a fan of chipping cars. Unless you've done exactly the mods the chip was designed for then it's a lottery. Euro car makes no difference too.
  8. That's what I was thinking really Neil. I've edited the topic title requesting pictures. I'll organise a poll for some different groups of shots. I think we should aim for a good spread of stuff - classics and new age, still and motion, artistic and fun. Maybe even some with the good people of the club. We're not the prettiest bunch but we know how to have a laugh. I'll collate them into different groups then put them up for voting. Would love a snow shot for at least one of the winter months as I said. Hopefully by this time next week we could have something available to buy.
  9. Neil - We recommend uploading standard calendar images at 11.25" x 8.75" to allow for trimming. The image area for standard calendars is 11" x 8.5". The coil binding will cover .375" at the bottom of this area. The bottom .375" of your image should be filled with the background image or color, but remain free of any text and/or images that should not be perforated by the coil. Your image will be centered on the page and resized proportionally, that is, by an equal percentage of height and width, until it fills as much of this area as possible.
  10. No other way to report someone's dodgy driving though.
  11. Ah the bait was taken Neil. Have a bash mate. When I get home I'll post up some technical information about pictures, but basically the calendar is one of those two page things per month with a picture above and the calendar bit below, and ring binds in the middle.
  12. Ladies and ladyboys, I've found a place that can do us calendars with on demand printing and delivery. This means no money up front from anyone and no possibilities of a loss made with buying more than we can sell. The calendars will cost about £6.50 to produce and send to your door. The intention being to then charge £10 or £12 to actually buy them with the different in the money going to Santa Cruise funds. You'd all be buying them via this service and then I, or someone equally responsible , will withdraw the money for santa cruise. Now the question is - we need 12 pictures for the months and a cover. Anyone got a good way we could possibly do this? I was thinking that we could maybe theme them with a couple of snowy ones for January and December etc. Need a good mix of classic and new age, track, street, show and shine etc. etc. Thoughts please! Maybe one of our gifted artistes could come up with a front cover?
  13. 13 months? Jings they grow up fast. Surely she could be working on cars whilst you're away Wuz?
  14. Looks like a smashing day. Sorry I missed it, but a long run with a dicky wheel bearing and a gearbox that occasionaly doesn't fancy going from 4th to anywhere isn't wise. Not that being wise is something I'm often accused of.
  15. So you're looking for Midlothian scooby owners, but only on the track? Feel free to come along to one of our rather excellent SIDC days at Knockhill where you'll find plenty of Subarus out on track, and where I'm sure most of us will hand you your ######. All I'd ask is that when you pussy foot round duffus ithat you have some respect for the well sorted cars that will inevitably be queing up behind you bored our their skull at driving at 70%. The choice is clear, are you a keyboard warrior or are you booking a place for the next trackday?
  16. Well done Billy, pass on my regards to the family.
  17. I know what you mean Imy. I don't want mine to run, so I'll watch it when I get home.
  18. There's a though Alan. I'm going to phone Greers when I get a spare 20 minutes hopefully. Want them to look at it first seeing as they did the clutch etc. How's the knee?
  19. Result! Warranty work to be done next week. Now to get my gearbox issues sorted too and all will be well in the world.
  20. Chrissy, I'll get on the blower to you should things go unsuccesfully with the dealers. If anyone else needs to actually buy one then give Chrissy a phone and he'll get you one for much cheapness.
  21. Realistically Davie - it's both. You'll get a cracking head unit for under £150-£200 these days. Are you a radio kind of guy or CDs? I bought myself an American headunit off ebay for a lot less than a UK model and all I lost out on was the RDS functions of the station name and traffic alerts. If you get one with a proper line in for your ipod youll also get much better sound than you will with the iTrip. Then you can also get ones with proper iPod interface that lets you control it all from the headunit and just forget about the iPod itself. The speakers are mince though. They're made of papermache and matchsticks.
  22. We should have had the Glasgow meet style everyone introduces themselves on Sunday. Wouldn't have taken too long with 140ish cars with sort of 1.5 people per car!
