  1. Bump for the new members.
  2. Putfile is quite good for just shoving smallish files up. I use www.34sp.com for my personal hosting. They're quite good, but probably not for hosting video files. You could maybe use a combo of both. 34sp for the hosting of your site etc. but keep the files on putfile.
  3. If you look at 4hero's avatar then he's photochopped the back off a Forrester STI to make a pickup version. I'd love one.
  4. Welcome
  5. The flying fanny!!! I quite like the new nose actually, but not the new rear lights. I'm pleased I have a MY05 sometimes. Same interior as the 06 I think, but the 3-5 face. Best of everything. You know the score Ed.
  6. It's a nice car. Wouldn't mind one as a wee weekend toy. Assuming I could fit in it of course.
  7. TomTom is great. I use it on my Phone at the moment. Complete with John Cleese reading out the instructions. I've just bought (well it's free on contract) a new phone for myself 10 minutes ago, so I'll be putting it on that as well. Another mate uses it on his PDA with great success. It's easy to see why everyone buys it because it's tremendously easy to use compared to some of the others.
  8. He ended up with a TomTom One from Currys for £250. He was going to buy a Road Angel Classic in Halfords and even had it in his hand then said "Right, now what about Sat Nav". I nearly murdered him for wasting 10 minutes looking at them when we should have just went for sat nav with speed camera databases to start with. I'm quit tempted by a Digital Video camera, but only if I can get one properly cheap.
  9. Anybody spotted anything nice, car or otherwise? I was down at Halfords yesterday as a mate wanted some sat nav advice. Their sale was rubbish though.
  10. I got none this year I did get a Nikko car and the transformers Impreza last year though. And I am waiting on a Tamiya car also.
  11. That's a bit of a pain Craig. At least you didn't get a ticket or anything.
  12. Just whip it out Del! The presents that is
  13. Never thought of Movie Maker! Got it working in Virtual Dub eventually. Was easy enough.
  14. I know some of you fellows (I'm looking at Cal!) do some video work. We shot some incar footage in my car yesterday afternoon, but the camera was mounted upside down, so I need to flip it horizontally and vertically, or rotate it 180 degrees (same effect). Anyone know of a good program to do this?
  15. There'll be a Glagow meet in the middle of January I think. Keep watching the forum for time and a date. I've still not seen a 2006 car on the road. I'll have to watch out for yours. Have you paid for membership or just signed up to the forum? It's well worth becoming a paid up member for discounts on parts and servicing.
  16. You've ruined my implied humor!
  17. I'm between women at the moment. LUCKY ME! Thank you. I'm here all week. Try the fish.
  18. I'm not starting my new Job until the middle of the month, so I've got at least 3 weeks spare I think! Sleep here I come.
  19. I'm not going anywhere for Christmas or New Year. So I guess I'll see you all later, then tomorow, maybe the next day, and the day after, and so forth.
  20. Now there's an image to ponder over for the rest of the day! Have a nice time Fee. Watch out for the dehli belly.
  21. Cheers Andy. Last day tomorrow! Sitting beavering away at some documentation at this hour too. Only because I was working from home today and done nothing! I've not seen Sheep in Kincardine for a while, or on the forums either it must be said.
  22. You off on Holiday Chris? Have a nice time mate. Maybe you'll come home to find a cheque for 1x STI8 with mods in your post box.
  23. I'm not as affected as Ed, as mine was registered in February without any trouble, so I only have the letter from that time frame, but I've obviously followed it closely as it could affect me. I'm sure Ed can fill you in more as he's really up to speed with it as they wouldn't reg his at all I think. Of course - I'm running with Tein Springs, Whiteline Droplinks, HKS SSQV Dump Valve and H+S Backbox. The rest of the exhuast wont see March, and it will be accompanied by a remap. I've kind of given up with the whole warranty thing really.
  24. If you read what Ed wrote then you'll see he's had a letter from Subaru UK this every morning confirming that he is ok to have his warranty work dealt with by UK dealers. There's been a 4 months long story about this which has only just been resolved, favourably I may add, by Subuaru UK after word came down from higher up that they were to honour them. There's a massive thread on SNET tracking the whole thing if you're interested.
  25. Get with the times mate. You're a week behind in the whole debacle. Everything is fixed now. IM are accepting warranty work. We've all got letters confirming that now. We may well loose out on some things you talk about, but there's 4 grand in my back pocket keeping my bum cheeks warm.
