  1. Just give it a coat of rainx. Should do the trick.
  2. Vicki, get a fat backbox on the car. It's the ultimate in security. My house vibrates when my car is started up.
  3. Scott as Gordy has the WR1 it already comes fitted with solid links I do believe.
  4. VICKI! You need these rims. Basically they're a copy of the 10s. Still not as fresh as these though
  5. Last time I was on a bike I ended up with a bruise on my leg that was about 6 inches by 6 inches. Then a few times before that I was doing endos and ended up with a smashed growth plate on my left arm. I used to be really into mountain biking when I was a kid, but then my metabolism stopped.
  6. If it was parked up the back it probably was you. I noticed it when walking back from Priceless to the PC world car park, and darted up the road for a wee look on my way home. I sometimes like to visit that mcdonalds because the exhaust reverbarates off the tight wee drive through tunnel.
  7. Now that's some Dougnuts! Keiichi Tsuchiya (the drift king) giving a Ferrari F430 and a NSX Type R a wee bit of a run through what can only be described as a very narrow track. The guy is a genius. Just watch some of the cornering with the 430.
  8. Silver bugeye in the PC World car park and a Blue blobeye in the McDonalds car park, which had a mesh grill, and looked maybe non-standard.
  9. I quite like it, but then I like something a little bit different to the norm, hence the GT Wing on mine.
  10. Hello
  11. Just use copy and paste. It's pure magic.
  12. I missed it watching my DVD of Smokey and the Bandit. Which was quality.
  13. 1. Billyboy 2. Vicki 3. ed209 4. WRCno1 5. Ally B 6. Gumball 7. FAI17 8.CORSA 9. st3ph3n I'll be there too. No matter where.
  14. I was never sure of the rear spoiler until I saw oobster's pics and it really does look good.
  15. Out of interest Phil, how many SIDC members are in Essex?
  16. Is it me or is the throw of the gear stick on the RUF absolutely massive? Great video though. Classic car.
  17. Ginge, I'm also running Tein springs (on a MY05 WRX) with Whiteline Droplinks all round, and Prodrive Geometery dialled in. The droplinks and geometerey were done first and transformed from something I thought felt good, but in reality was no where near as planted as it should have been. You could literally drive down your favourite test track at 120 and feel the car was only doing about 80 based on how it used to feel. The Tein springs were added last month and the car now looks fantastic and the handling has improved that bit more too. The ride is a bit harsher, but nothing that bothers me. The car does sit very low and you have to be careful about kerbs and things. I'm worse because I've got a scott lowe front splitter on mine which drops it another inch, so the council phone me when they need an extra snow plough.
  18. I'm sure someone knows someone that can do small scale DVD runs that can maybe let us know about costs etc. Production/editing - I'd not strictly got that far in my thinking. I done some myself over christmas on some incar footage a mate of mine had recorded for me, but it only involved chopping the bad bits and rotating the image, so I can't claim to be anything other than a largely frustrated amateur. If volunteers could edit individual segments (such as a track day) then the results of that could be brought together, bashed into a menu system and bobs your uncle. We've got some budding Graphic Artists hanging about I think, they could maybe do us a cover for a slip case and the DVD itself.
  19. An idea came to me this morning, and I think it's a good one, or at least the start of a good one. Wouldn't it be good to make up some DVDs either after certain events or even better I think maybe every 6 months as a sort of review of whats going on. At track days, runs, crail, any events there's always some cameras about catching the action. Either in car or from a spectator point of view. We can pool all of these various bits of footage together and edit them into various chapters/scenes for particular events. So if we said June then we'd maybe have footage from one or two trackdays, a run or two, the Richard Burns relay, crail and any other events either organised by the club, or attended by in significant numbers. Would this be something that would interest anyone, and how much would you pay for one? I'd propose any profits go to a charity of everyone's choosing.
  20. Drifting a front wheel drive super market trolley? Can't be done you say. Oh yes it can!
  21. You've got to get away from your work sometime Peter. I wouldn't want to host a meet at my work every month. How about everyone gets a set of ID cards handed to them at a meet with everyone's mug shot on it. And a wee blurb about themselves too perhaps. I've got a SWRT lanyard and name tag thing I got off the forums last year. But I feel like a bit of an erse wearing it I must admit. Although I do intend to use the lanyard part itself for holding my official government ID card at my new job, if they'll let me.
  22. Painful, but everyone was good. Hell if that had been Nascar they'd have taped it up with Duck Tape and sent him back out.
  23. Crash. Footage speaks for itself really.
  24. Put them in the car clips thread man!
  25. Ah yes. That's the fellow. Good old Bruno. It sounds fabulous.
