  1. It's just Scott Lowe that the company is called Peter. Not Scott and Lowe. You're thinking of sweet and low perhaps. I've got the Scott Lowe flaps and they're excellent, but Scoobyworld sell some new ones that look good and are cheapish. My spoiler and splitter are also from Scott Lowe and are of excellent quality. No complaints about service either.
  2. I'm not on the trackday, but someone maybe think about phoning the shells near knockhill to make sure they got plenty in stock for next weekend.
  3. Looking good Cal. Mine's overdue the first swisolling of the year and is currently in a state of filthy. Damned black cars.
  4. Welcome loafy. Nice cars. I'm sure I recognise the R32. I'm just down in Bothwell, so if you see a Black WRX with a carbon rear wing about then that's me. Rarely seen at lurking speed.
  5. Looks very clean JC. Rims work well with the car, and the coilovers do drop it lower than a badgers arse.
  6. Ed a mate of mine runs his malteser on regular without trouble. Gets good mileage out of it too. He frequents the forum I believe, but rarely posts.
  7. One of my blinkers is on the blink. Or rather it keeps falling out and the only thing holding it onto the car is the wiring. The plastic clip mechanism appears to be broken, so I'm going to have to replace it. So my question - if I was to buy some third party ones then do they tend to come with the plastic clip, or are they usually just the clear cover and the bulb?
  8. I made the wallpaper myself to fit my screen. The original image came from this site though - - which has some rather excellent drift shots. Click on the images for the bigger versions, which aren't quite the right aspect ration for a standard monitor so get your windows paint or photoshop or Paintshop Pro out and rejig them. www.st3ph3n.com/images/driftwrx.jpg - The wallpaper.
  9. You should head up to AWD in perth tomorrow for some impartial chat from the enthusiasts/nutters/vagrants in attendance. Plus you can get some ideas on modifications. I know, I know. You're keeping it standard. That's what we all said.
  10. Lurking on the M8 offboost. Then later decidedly on boost down the M8 and part of the bellshill bypass. Car is sounding mighty fine and moving rather quickly indeed after the new mods.
  11. It's on the road to Callander Peter. Lovely part of the world. Might think about a trip myself actually.
  12. Mr T would be a proud man. He loved it when a plan came together.
  13. I think it's a Burglar King if I'm not mistaken Brian. But other than that I do believe you're spot on.
  14. Hello and welcome.
  15. Paul, you're added to the Relay map as linked in my sig. Stephen
  16. ALREADY REGISTERED 1. STILL REQUIRING REGISTRATION AND A STICKER 1. Gumball 2. st3ph3n
  17. Got some in Bellshill, but at 99.9. Likely to go up more in the next few days apparently!
  18. I agree. Of course I'm not getting email alerts 100% of the time when I get a PM, so that's annoying too.
  19. I pmed or emailed Billy about it after that thread was posted. Wasn't at the meal or the last meet to get things sorted.
  20. As someone once said to me - 4wd is great when you're trying to get going, but does shit all when you're trying to get stopped.
  21. My understanding is that you need to register interest with your RO so you can buy an official relay sticker for your car so you can take part. I guess you chaps would need to speak to spooks?
  22. Anyone heard from Billy recently? I'm not sure if I'm registered to take part in the RB Relay or not! I've certainly not paid him the entry fee but I did tell him I wanted registered. Don't want to miss out on it. And are we having a meeting before the end of the month to sort out what we're doing for it? I'll be at Kames on the Saturday night but I'm planning on doing some of the journey the next day too. Maybe to Aviemore as I know Wilky needs a show of support.
  23. I still want a SIDC Ice Scraper for the winter too.
  24. Ah yes. I read it that you had gone to old Arnold.
  25. You value service yet went to Arnold Clark? Have you thought about a Euro Import DMW? www.motorpoint.co.uk have some good prices just now, although you'd need to sell your own car privately as their trade ins are rubbish. I got good service from motorpoint in actually buying the car, but after that you have to rely on either main dealers or subaru/jap specialists for servicing etc. as motorpoint are sales only really. You'd get a new 2.5 STI import for around your budget. In terms of STI over the WRX. Tough choice really. Test them all and see what you think. I've got a WRX and I'm really happy with it, but I couldn't have afforded a new STI at the time so I was limited. Whatever you do end up with you'll love. But you'll never have enough POWER!
