  1. Was out after work and a guy I used to work with was there and he says a mate of his called Gavin attends the trackdays at Knockhill and knows of me, but the only member I could think of called Gavin was scooby seller, and it's not you. So c'mon, who is it?
  2. It is very true what they say about guys with big feet. They have an absolute ******* of a time finding good shoes to fit!
  3. I do enjoy my H+S Jap Slash, but it's quite a sizeable thing. Blitz Nur spec perhaps?
  4. I actually drive in my socks quite a bit. I drove home last night from the golf course like that, but mainly because my feet were absolutely aching. I think I'll go and measure up some Pumas at the weekend if I can. For a nike cross trainer I'm generally needing a UK14/US15!
  5. Ya bunch of FANNIES! If the drift king wears gloves when he's hurling an F430 round the Touge then it's clearly acceptable practice. So get it right round yeeeees. I like the look of those speed cats. I'll stop by Schuh and get a pair of Puma 12s to see if they fit. Which they wont, so I'll have to ask them very nicely to order me in 13s, which they wont. So then it's back to trawling ebay for them. CURSE YOU COMEDY OVERSIZED FEET.
  6. Good stuff JC. Enjoy yourself. My scoobs getting used as a wedding car in June for one of my best mates wedding. Will need to work out how to ribbon it up.
  7. Looking for a good pair of shoes for trackdays/spirited runs. Skateboard shoes aren't cutting it anymore. Anyone got good suggestions? I need them in size extra clown though. Or 13 in real money.
  8. I played 2 rounds of golf today. My legs are unimaginably tired. It was good though. Top day out.
  9. Two absolute GODS.
  10. Get some tyre gel on there! Other than that, very nice.
  11. Feckin' scum the lot of them. Any way you can setup a web cam or something to monitor it Fee?
  12. You could work the 2 of them and still work less than most of us! I'm on 37.5 here, but it's annualised hours so I can, and indeed do, work longer days so I can get days off.
  13. Groan. Well I've just been sat outside for an hour with a nice sandwich catching some rays and enjoying the views from Holyrood over the park. Lovely. Back in the office for 5 minutes and I'm bored already!
  14. I'm sitting in my office looking out the window at this beautiful building basking in the sun. But at the same time I'm cackin' myself because the boys and girls are back in the chamber this afternoon and the software that records their votes is now in my command. So I hope it works properly after the changeover or I could be in some serious shhhtick.
  15. It's simple. If it's not Scottish it's CRAP.
  16. Grab your coat but leave the car and the tools Wuz. I'll be needing them []
  17. There was talk, from myself, and even some enquiries, again by myself, about getting a GB price from scoobyworld on their custom mats with potentially Scottish Scoobies and your forum name on the mat. That was just before chrimbo and I ran out of money after quitting my job. Scoobyworld had said they could do it too. I have the genuine WRX logod mats in my car and they were knackered after a year. Not good for £60.
  18. Cal if you do some searching you'll find I'd asked about induction (specifically an APS CAI) and was told my target of 300bhp would be fed just fine thanks very much with the standard airbox and a decent panel filter. So your deductions are indeed spot on. They really are a helpful bunch round here.
  19. I'm the resident sad barsteward who keeps a spreadsheet of how much I put in, at what cost and how many miles I get. I've been doing this for over 6 months now and I'm at a lifetime average of 23 and a bit. I'm reasonably lead footed too. Why accelerate slowly when you can accelerate quickly?!?!? That's on a MY05 WRX with just a backbox and a DV. But more is to come []
  20. Del, it was a fantastic day. The ayrshire boys and girls and everyone else who helped out should be immensely proud of what was achieved, not just in the money raised but by how much fun it was. I had a great time and my little cousin wouldn't stop talking about everything he'd seen. He was particularly taken by the mystical 22b. Like the rest of us I suppose. Again, great work! Stephen
  21. Was that 84 in a 60? I got 92 on the motorway and got the standard 3 and 60.
  22. It's a great looking car you've got. Was it featured in Banzai last year by any chance?
  23. Those that ended up at Happendon will know what's coming. The poor P1 wouldn't fire as it was parked too close to a mast. So the RB Memorial Push had to be initiated. I enjoy a bit of schadenfreude as much of the next man, so I chased them down with the camera to catch the happy moment. Class.
  24. I'm kinda sorry I didn't go to Aviemore after all, looks like it would have been good. I thought I was near the back of the Q after stirling so tried to catch up, but then realised I was at the front. I was too hungry to carry on too, as I'm sure I told most of you in stirling services whilst I was complaining about BK being shut. So I did a quick 180 selected zone 5 and bugged out back down the M80. An XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger later and I was a very happy boy. Same time next year anyone?
  25. Well done gus. I was down at Kames earlier and they'd raised quite a fair bit of cash already. Was a good day too. Although I only won a lucky grouse foot in the raffle and not the DVDs I really wanted.
