  1. You've been married a year Andy? F**k me, it seems like just yesterday I was reading about it on the forum. Has time passed that quickly?
  2. This thread is somewhat of a a blast from the past! I ended up with the red stuffs and I liked them. So much so I got a second set fitted a month ago after wearing out the first set. Discs are on the way out though, will only last this set of pads then I'll need to change them.

  4. Peter, did you buy it with the appropriate wiring harness?
  5. H+S Japslash 5" Backbox + HKS SSQV Dump Valve + Mobile setup to record sound + me driving through a small tunnel = www.st3ph3n.com/engine.mp3 Good entries so far.
  6. Orange cable ties are where it's at Fee. The drift boys and girls know how to do it!
  7. Tasty bits and pieces Peter. No half arsed measures. I like it []
  8. I'm still a sucker for a the noise of a Ferrari. Although I do like the burble.
  9. HT Autos (of Impreza pickup fame) also do them.
  10. It helps you understand the comedy of Bill Hicks though!
  11. Once when I was in Florida we went quite far north, up towards Jacksonville. The further north you went the further south you got if you see what I mean. Not a thumb between them and a baptist chruch every 500 yards.
  12. Welcome! What kind of car do you have then?
  13. Looks ace Fee. The white wheels are great. When does it get its track outing then?
  14. Our photoshoot was due in the next one as well!
  15. I paid for 12 and got TWO I think. Not entirely chuffed if it's true.
  16. It's standard if you see one at the lights, or parked up with the owner at it that you should (when safe to do so) drop a gear and floor it so they can enjoy the burble.
  17. Oh, I wasn't thinking of me. I was thinking of it could have been worse for the car. I'm immortal, like the Highlander.
  18. When's the auction ending? And £10.
  19. Coming home from work this evening. Driving down the bellshill bypass as normal. Next thing I see everyone hitting the brakes and I'm slowing down too. Van in front swerves right to avoid this big blue empty barrell thing. I've got enough room to get round it too I think so I'm also aiming right. Next thing a big gust of wind and suddenly the damn things in front of me and I've got feck all places to go as I was about a foot from it. So I hit it and now I've got a bit of a scuff mark on the front bumper. It could have been a lot worse if the barrell thing wasn't empty and unsealed. Still, it needs to go in for some touching up anyway, but that corner didn't until this evening!
  20. If anyone's looking to build a garage then feel free to froth over stuff on this page - http://www.garagejournal.com/
  21. Vectras as courtesy cars is not a good mix. I went through front tyres in mine ever 6-8K, if I was driving it like a courtesy car I doubt I'd have got 1K out of them.
  22. Indeed it was Andy. I was heading to work a bit later than normal. That old friend of mine [] once hung out the backend of a works Nissan pickup truck whilst pulling out of a junction at low speed. Once he knew how to do it he was sideways the rest of the day.
  23. Haha. I've got cars in GT4 fitted with Qualifiers on the front and the hardest rubber known to man on the rear. Great for a powerslide. Better in real life I imagine. I could tell a good courtesy car story, but I'm afraid I'd possibly libel myself.
  24. I agree with Grant on the 40-50 mark. Had something similar on a Vectra where the wee bams stole there stereo and to do so had to hack bits of the dash and it wasn't cheap to replace.
  25. I'd say a static hand in the air should be the standard scooby wave. Any sort of motion means turn back or danger ahead.
