The Fiesta was doing about 20mph slower than that day we went round it Gumball.

This is a really hard question I find. Before I bought my scoob I was looking at (new cars) the CTR, Leon Cupra R and the Octavia RS. Nothing else took my fancy and I didn't really want a FWD car anyway. Now I've had a taste of something with a bit of power I can't see me going back to something normal again for the forseeable future. If I had the cash I'd have a 911, but that's a long way off.

I hooked mine into the back of the cigarette lighter socket originally. That worked fine.

Cal is that the Godspeed bigger discs with the caliper spacing kit or just regular sized ones? The big set is possibly on my list for when my discs need changed.

GT Spec do them too. For cheaper I think. DH Cars have never been known to be cheap, and Zero Sports stuff isn't cheap either.

Last night on my way home from work. A lot of my stories start like this actually. I was westward on the A8 coming up to Coatbridge where I made an exit to head on to the Bellshill Bypass. I was driving about 80% probably. Well within mine and the cars limits. As I came up the sliproad and stayed left for the bypass I noticed a black fiesta was ahead of me. The road goes left then right under the bridge. I notice the the fiesta has at this point given it a bit of stick and swept from the left lane to the right lane to hit the apex on the right hander. At this point I'm still catching it at a decent rate and driving no where near what I know is towards the fast end of comfortable on that road. WOAH! Next thing I notice the Fiesta has a massive moment where the front end is going in a completely different direction to where the tyres are pointing and the car is now in the left lane. Now why in the hell do people risk their well being? Are they trying to prove a point or something? I wasn't racing, I wasn't even egging them on. "Congratulations, you went round that corner faster than me." That's the message I'd be writing in the sympathy card for their funeral.

I feel for you mate. Watch out for those unmarked crossroads!

It was coughing up an error when I posted the first time and didn't think it had actually posted!

I decided to celebrate a fine morning by taking the long road to work so I could assault the Newhouse to Salsburgh to that junction for shotts on the M8 road. And it was good. Nice through here in Edinburgh too. Maybe not as warm though.
