  5. Granty - Try: John at Pro Grip based in Bonnybridge / Falkirk - tel: 01324 810111. I've used this guy and he is superb - he set up the allignment on a Golf Gti that we have, however he was recommended as quite a lot of CTR's have incorrect rear wheel allignment causing a high wear rate on the inside of their rear tyres. (see comments on the www.type-r-scotland.com website) John also sets up a lot of rally cars including Scoobys, so I'm confident that he could be of some use to you. Cost me circa £50 when I went and spent approx 2-2.5 hours getting the car set up right. Hope this helps Chris
  6. Seems like a reaonable idea to me. Personally I think experiences at dealers or any kind of place where work is done - eg tyre fitters, parts providers should be shared. This is a forum, where experiences and knowledge are shared and discussed. So for example - I go to dealer A and I receive good service. I go to dealer B and receive bad service. If I repeat the facts of what happened on a public forum, how does this contravene the law..? Mind you all the Daily Telegraph did was repeat the facts of what had happened regarding a certain MP, and look where that go them. I suppose then that Zeolites suggestion of dealers being approved may work - ie dealers that aren't approved may have had quality / cost issues with members in the past and are removed from the panel. I wouldn't have thought you could be accused of saying something you shouldn't simply because a dealer is not approved...?
  7. Happy Birthday unless: 1. There is another Dougster on Scooby net who's name appeared on the birthday listings. 2. The Scoobynet details are wrong. 3. I've made an a$$$ of it. If none of the above - then have a nice day
  8. << After all , we dont buy a scoob to save money. Howdy David >> Oh my God - am I ever realising that recently - think I'll get a line plumbed directly into my local Bp garage !! BTW - welcome David
  9. Don't want to make this a thread for major discussion as it's more of an invite type thread, however from looking at Ian's comments (and other peoples as well), it'd appear that a few people have had problems with this dealership. Everyone will have had bad experiences with dealers from time to time, however things do change. I personally thought they were pretty top notch. Out of curioisty what were the changes that took place at Morrions - ie, management, staff, prices......etc etc ....Is it only me that think they're ok.....?
