Hi guys Would it be worth suggesting that if any of you have a good idea for a meet/event but feel it may rock the boat with other small minded individuals if seen planning/organising it yourself, that you can and should approach your local RO with your idea so that it can go ahead, leaving your identity untied to the planning on the face of the forum. Personally I am not happy at all with this situation or the above suggestion really, as crap like this should never occur. I am 100% behind anyone that has the drive to get up and do something within the club and it is something that should be encouraged. Cheers Iain

I am fairly certain its slightly different to doing you brakes, you obviously need 2 of you, push the pedal to the floor then open the bleed port for a couple of seconds, then do the bleed port back up and raise the clutch pedal obviously repeat until you get clean air free fluid out. You may need to manually raise the clutch pedal with your hand during the bleed this is normal. And keep an eye on your clutch fluid level too as you are bleeding the system. Cheers Iain

I only asked as the non DCCD scoobs have the 50/50 torque split available too, plus the diff is able to shift the torque to where the grip is. Cheers Iain

You may have a leaking turbo oil delivery pipe or it could be the cam cover leaking onto the manifold/up-pipe and the smoke id rising up past the turbo, you would need to try and locate the source of the oil to be certain as to where it is from. Cheers Iain

Would that be beef or lamb mince Thats your opinion mate, but if the lorry had no traction to get moving from a standstill on that road under its own power even the slightest bit of traction from the scoob would have helped get it going, once moving there would be no need for the scoob anymore but it certainly helped it get going. Hi mate Make sure that you have sufficient traction with the scoob on its own before you attach it to the stuck car. You will probably find that if you have fairly good traction in the scoob that it will simply pull the stuck car out on its own but it will be made easier if the stuck car is being driven as it is being pulled. Make sure that there is plenty of room either side of the scoob too as if you loose traction in the scoob as you take up the weight of the stuck car the scoob may want to dance from side to side a little, obviously the last thing you want to do it clip a kerb or another car etc. I would try pulling in 1st or 2nd (Low) mate, if its really slippy the wheels are going to spin no matter what you do but the added traction of the 4 wheel drive should see you right.
