  1. easy done lol. Billy i am glad i amuse you and ally. thats what i am here for. Big Andy coped well at 80mph in mid air
  2. I give it a couple of clicks to get that wee bit more. Agree with the above- the first quarter stinks but the last quarter lasts longer. Maybe its a mental thing
  3. £750 £100 fuel pump £150 decat £500 remapped ECU You would get around what you are looking for with this. Then the next £300-400 you come across: 1. Tein or Eibach springs (lowered 30mm) 2. Drop links, bushes, anti sway bar Sorted :waving-santa:
  4. LOL. the STI badge is brilliant ! I just wanted to remember when i got in it was a little different. The only other stupid thing i have done to my scoob was to throw one sideways into a field at hi speed. that wasnt too funny.
  5. I think i have filled it 3 times so far and have between 180-230 a tank. Its above a quarter just now with 120miles done. Some of that has been pedal down, so maybe ill get another 60 miles yeah 180 odd
  6. Hi, Since I got my car I have noticed that when i fill it, it clicks as you would expect. I replace the cap and pay then drive off. Immediately, I look at the guage and its sitting under the full mark by a few mm. This actually means that on filling, it can be an 1/8 of a tank down after 3-4 miles. By the time I got to half a tank today I had done 100 miles.( some extreme boost for a while) The consumption seems normal by the end of the tank, but that initial period at the top is almost like the thing isnt full. Any views? Gumball
  7. Well today my after market RB320 steering wheel badge arrived in the post. So, without thinking it through, I armed myself with a kitchen knife and made a hasty exit out back to begin tackling the transformation from STI in the centre of the wheel to RB320. Giving it as little thoguht as possible, I proceeded to attack the STI badge and pull away at it, bending it. I thought ''if this was meant to come out, it would be a lot easier'' and suddenly realised i had made an error of considerable magnitude. I started to try and get the slightly bent STI badge back into place and obviously each time I did so, the horm went off. Now I was feeling concsious of my presence and decided to drive down the road and sit quietly trying to get it back into place. Each time the horn blasted, people looked, a man sitting in a group 20 car, fiddling with a knife around the general control area. Sweary words coming from me, people looking, knife in hands, old women cowering as their fingers looked for the 999 buttons on ther mobiles. lol Eventually got it all sorted and peeled off the RB320 backing and stuck it over the STI badge like I should have done to begin with. This story backs up the reason I hit the ball like tiger but have a 17 handicap. I simply have no concentration !! what a chod !
  8. Brilliant !!! great thread !
  9. This is a classic right? There are a lot of classics on pistonheads with red tops and big power, type Rs, RAs etc etc for similar prices just now 1. People have no money 2. Your competiting within a price point alongside the above I dont find the window adverts work at all and rarely would you get a call other than bampots at traffic lights who think they are funny. How badly do you need to sell? Could you PX if you still need a car, then sell their car for the deposit? sometimes a ford focus 1.8 zetec is easier to sell than an impreza Could you take the hit and sell it for 3 something?
  10. Richie, I used to use Millers 10w60 all year round. Great for road and track use, didnt cause any issues in the winter and im happiest with that. After 12 months I will be going back to it
  11. I was thinking ''this is loads of mods, nice house too'' then i noticed the portal to the other world and then thought ''i want that'' Great thread mate
  12. I just answered my own question but hope this helps for anyone else who has wondered. another forum discussion
  13. was this ever confirmed as being right or wrong. I have the same tyres and they are doing the same thing. the left of the car point forward and in. the right hand side points backwards and in. WTF?
  14. WHO? WHO? are you an owl? lol Mate the gumball stickers for the fogs are ordered up. BOOM. New plate for the car is bought too. RB 07 OFF
  15. Funny how some scoobs can be classy looking, some angry looking and some...............well shat
  16. jesus
  17. I know !! shaved pink goats are you particular favourite.
  18. Today I saw this Series McRae car in mint condition outside Ian Grieves. The only time I have seen one of these before was when I was a teenager when my dad gave me a scale model with WRC decals for my birthday. The car travelled with me all over and eventually I lost it. Now i have seen one in real life and it looks great. Wheels are very styling in an old school way, great front lights and just classic. The only thing I would probably change, would be to take the bullet hole stickers off. Just me though.
  19. Did they only have one car? I wouldnt have paid to see one car
  20. Halleys had my STI 8 in for something trivial in 2006. I clocked the mileage before I handed it in. I was then delayed and couldnt get it back for a few days. mileage was a lot higher than when it went in. Wouldnt go back Oil changed at Ian Grieves today, splitter replaced, ECU reset. Im happy with the service. I could even understand what they were saying if I listened closely.
  21. lol. well played. I shall come in this week
  22. Im sure infact, I know there are several threads dating back to when Jesus was around, but I would like some up to date advice on what oil to put in the Interceptor.(First 900 miles) Subaru have quoted me £100 for Shell Helix oil, filter, changed Kiwk Fit (just thought I would ask as they are across the way), Mobil 1, £50, filter, changed Hyperrtek- havent heard back Greers- Havent spoken to them I think I used to use motul 15w50 and or millers 10w60 What is best?
