PLEASE CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY THE PRICE OF VPOWER HAS SUDDENLY SHOT RIGHT UP? is it going back down and it ws just due to weather? or have they increased it EVEN BEFORE the increase and the VAT increase? Soneone needs to do something about this, we are being robbed !!!!
  5. Thats a bad one ! Weather is getting worse again this week and dangerous.
  6. whers this mate? Low Moss? Near the Stables? Kirky way?
  7. Project thread of track car being built possibly the most detailed project thread I have seen. What a car !!
  8. Some good examples there ! getting away with that in the first 2 years is awesome. Thats what cost me my license in that period. Maybe worth the investment !! Youd spend it on mods anyway, so its worth paying for Good luck
  9. I think it looks awesome ! I tried to get an MR360 from Killermont a year or so ago and the finance wouldnt go through cos the value of the car was wrong/too high. Wasnt meant to happen. Just another example of japanese performance with a different badge
  10. I dont think your going to get away with drink driving naked anyway ! forewarned is fore armed
  11. regardless of whether i was guilty or not, this guy got me off scot free on two charges in 2006 1. Driving not in accordance with a license- provisional 2. Not having insurance for this reason 3 pts for the license 6 for the insurance result- Dont do it again ! Glasgow lawyer The fee from consultation to representation in court was £400
  12. I have tried to steer him away from the evo ownership based on the differences between those and the scooby, but he is determined to get an evo 8 or 10. So my old man sent me this link to say ''shutit wee baws, im gonna get one and here it is'' I love it ! I know i shouldnt but this thing looks awesome !! usual mods but noticed there is no uprated pump and its running 397bhp/360lbft. Surely if the pump was uprated and remapped it would be pushing well over 400/400? Does the evo 10 RS already have an uprated pump though? Lancer registry EVO x RS
  13. Well done on the new posts guys ! Phit like ken
  14. my car has the splitter off it just now and probably for the best. the car just eats up the snow no bother at all. Friday went to the cairngorms snowboarding and we were the only car that made it straight up the hill to the top car park. love it
  15. Good topic given the current lack of interest all round. I joined in 2005 and was here for a while then came back. I immediately rejoined this year to: 1. invest in teh club I previously had so much fun with 2. Not appear to be attending but not contributing I have seen a real downturn in enthusiasm with SIDC and scottish scoobies. People are posting up things to get their cars sorted/changed then keeping out the way What is going on???????? IMHO there is a serious lack of 1. Days out 2. Runs after meets, dark or not 3. Things to get people excited 4. things to encourage people to come out their houses/shell/bubble I paid £30 to rejoin and havent got anything for my money. A sticker and a flier about michael knight insurance or something ! I think a poll is needed to ask forum attenders what they want to see from SIDC/Scottish Scoobies. We are also very quick to slag off dealerships that dont fall to our feet all the time. If we got them back on side, we would get a new member a lot of times someone bought a new or used vehicle from them ! I joined to meet folk and drive my fast car fast. This isnt happening anymore!
  16. The king is dead, long live the king well done to the new folks that got into power. Look forward to positive changes moving forward.# Good luck
  17. unfortunately i cant make this now as I will be in aberdeen until late in the day. Frees up space for someone else. Have a good night.
  18. Twas the deathstar itself. I was in printing off CVs and he was outside keeping watch
  19. Having owned a blobeye STI and a WRX 54` I knew i didnt want a WRX based on the looks and differences. I didnt want to buy another STI for less money than the RB as they arent holding their value all that well. So I decided on a ltd edition car with character and a list of upgrades to boot. My RB320 has 25,000 miles and cost £18,500. Prices seem to range between £17,000-£23,000 depending on condition, spec, history. They will keep their price to a point. 22b and RB5 are an example although have completely different heritage. Will the RB320 ever compete with the 22B? I wouldnt think so but the timing/circumstances/reason behind the car stands for itself also. The spec (without going to the glovebox and getting the list out) is something like: Bilstein struts reworked Eibach springs Uprated and adjustable ARB Stronger drops Leather seats in some/most Front splitter Wheels branded mats gearshifter quick shift box individually mapped to 320/320 prodrice box If you flick that diff to manual and pull it back 2 places with the kit already on the car, its planted. That just saved you £500 on handling mods. The car is the same as what the old blob ej20 was with PPP but i believe if you use it properly it will be a match for bigger cars due to the set up alone. WR1- The fastest car off the shelf, holding good value and were generally owned due to their high price in 2004 by folk who didnt batter them JDM STI- rollerbearing turbo, better gear box, more potential Litchfield Type 25- how many did they make? I looked at one in 2006 and as I was about to travel to see it, it blew up on track. Could you mod the JDM STI to the same/more spec for less money? I think so. Finally, ( i was told ) if you stick on a sports cat and map the RB320 it will produce 360+bhp/400lbft. £75 + £450 + £18k = £18,500 for a quick quick car that goes round on rails................................
  20. I may need to start eating bananas and would like one just like that. That mixes it up
  21. I was told the car was out on the road yesterday or today but not for sale. First to 300, 400,500 and 600 have been claimed First proper WRC replica has been built and claimed Another is nice but no cigar. Just another sequal
