The 1144s were on fire after 20 minutes this afternoon. I also found out the RB320s have an adjustable rear anti roll bar. new brakes, bar adjusted and diff set to manual (down 2) makes it stick to the road like glue

that clio or whatever tf it is could be the worst car i have ever seen. some of us worry about catching our splitter on the ground, whilst this bam loves it. must have too much cash get the sneaky photos up !!

Dont have the photo but when i first got my 3rd scoob recently, all black and sleek, a citroen something pulled up alongside me at braehead with two yahoo wullies in it. the car had a sticker on the back that said ''JDM AS F*CK''. they tore off into the sunset and had quite clearly smoked me.

I know that. 1144 were 100quid. PF were 110. Dunc your right, i am gonna keep it standard actually.Its hard but the thought of keeping it as it was built is appealing strangely. Ill keep it the way it is

your post yesterday went up whilst i was out of the house and I made a decision to get something I new worked. If i have issues with them, i will get the PF next time. thanks for the help :icon_rendeer:

I see godspeed do kits rather than pads only? maybe mistaken. best price i can find so far is £160 delivered in a day from camskill, for front and rear 1144s

i think the mintex 1144 or 1155 is a good shout. EBC have let me down twice now. not for me All i need to do now if find a cheap online purchase for front and rears and ill swap them out in the driveway anyone know where? mail order?

thanks for all the feedback. much appreciated. soundie made a good point. could the fluid be cooked? pads were put on the car not long before the engine rebuild, so they have done 1500miles or so and performed like shat el arab from the off. hmmmmmmm i think from memory the 1144s did squeek and i liked it cos they worked so well aside from this. maybe i should get the fluid checked? this possible? ps- mullac, i dont really understand your grammer there lol

Today i took the deathstar out for its first run somewhere. the twisties followed long straights and as you can imagine i needed stopping power in a hurry, often. the pedal felt almost jammed in place a lot of the time with nothing happening. no ability to stop fast at all infact, at one point i almost had to stand on them to make them stop. so.... having used mintex 1144, yellow stuff abc, red stuff abc and standard newage pads, what advice and where can i get some good pads for the RB320 please? ill probably change the brake fluid at the same time. tomorrow ideally

Mapping, low mileage, your high mileage, mods, DCCD, blah aside............. Whats the book price for a low milage 2005 JDM? Whats the book price for a higher milage 2006 Audi? Why dont you sell yours for a ford fiesta/focus baby carrier + buy a classic off pistonheads? I know what i would do- just swap it and enjoy the new car lol
