  2. LOL; never seen so many Subaru jackets in a bar before. I had to decline Bladeriders offer to show me his Subaru underpants though
  3. you need to upload the pic somewhere or you can link it to a pic already on another website. I can't actually show you the code otherwise it would insert a pic, so you'll have to use your imagination a little *img src=full url* replace the first * with < replace the second * with > replace full url phrase with the complete url to the image e.g. http://www.test.com/pic.jpg Hope that makes sense. Stefan
  4. Are you wanting a face mask or aromatherapy bath salts? insurance or a cash job? there was a good one in Chapelhall (I think they're called Performance Body Shop) and another in Motherwell (can't remeber the name, but I think they were on Logans Road). The one in Chapelhall repaired a wing on my old Golf and did a good job. It's been about 5 years since I've been near either of them
  5. no worries Dougster, anytime m8. Good to see some new faces tonite
  6. gawd, he's passed his HGV license and is bringing one of these along
  7. Well I washed mine yeaterday for the first time in about 4 months I think you could get that a bit dirtier; just give a lift to an Aberdeen lass
  8. Never known for their intelligence, so pi$$-taking's about as much as I can muster A bit more patriotic now
  9. You taking the bus then Dougster
  10. What stereo do you have? There's a few ways:- 1. If it's an Alpine and Ai-Net compatible then you can buy a specific adaptor that lets you control the iPod from the headunit buttons. 2. Dension do an iPod adaptor for various headunits as well as some OE stuff. Again, you get control from the headunti as it looks like a CD changer to it. 3. Hook it up to the AUX input on the stereo - you won't be able to control it using the headunit 4. Although the Apple iPod FM tuner is illegal, you can get a Belkin one for the UK. One of the girls in my work uses it for another MP3 player and it works a treat. Stefan
  11. ah, right. Have you got a pair of spurs yet Dougster or is it part of the uniform now?
  12. Someone PM me the dealer and website - lost in the dark here as usual or at the very least, pass me some matches so I can find my way out
  13. Go for it Dougster. Any jobs only as secure as your notice period anyway. At least it's work until you sort something better out for yourself.
  14. If you're interested I will have some OZ 18" P1-WRC's for sale in a week or so. Need to get my 17" Speedlines refurbed first. Stefan
  15. I've used Swifts in Whitburn for the past few years to do my MOT's. Stefan
  16. they've not got me yet, so I'm confident my lucky streak will continue. since I'll be selling the car and buggering off to Alaska for several months, they'll have to come and get me if they want paid
  17. Did Nobles price include the SIDC 10% discount?
  18. That dual carraigeway is just badly designed. There's bad driving everywhere, so you've got to ask why just that road. Combine all those junctions with people not wanting to let anyone in (and others not filtering properly), it was overdue a major change. I've witnessed more accidents than I can shake a stick at down at the BP garage with folk getting rear-ended (oh, er).
  19. Speed van sitting on the main dual carraigeway on the uphill section i.e. you can't see them until you're over the brow and bingo - zapped. No idea if I was caught, but I was only a few mph over the 50 limit. If I'm caught, fair muff, but I wish they go patrol some actually dangerous roads for a change. Are their whereabouts published anywhere?
  20. Autometer Boost + SPA dual oil temp/pressure Masked off faces and re-sprayed bezels in the same silver finish.
  21. The US ...... either San Francisco as some blokes mincing down the street behind you or outside the Cheers bar would be another huge stab in the dark,
  22. have you seen his driving? I'm surprised it's just 4 times
  23. That is very sad Subaru underpants anyone?
  24. The Goodyear Eagle GSD3's are not on par with the old Eagle F1's IMHO. I would say they are level with the Toyo T1-S in the dry, but the Goodyear still has an edge in the wet. The roads now are very greasy, so I'd be cautious to dismiss them completely. My Goodyears have been great up until the past month or so. They were excellent hooning back down from Glencoe in the pouring rain on Sunday, but driving along the roads coming out my village this morning the car was sliding all over the shop. When I've used other cars on the same roads out the village, they've done pretty much the same. I'm putting it down to cr@p on the roads rather than simply the tyre. Stefan
  25. Yeah, it's a nightmare out there. Was climbing in Glencoe yesterday and had to do a detour coz the A84 between Doune and Callander was closed. The roads were far more dangerous than on the mountains. Car was aquaplaning all the time on the drive back down. Stefan
