Had falkens on my car , unsure what they (512 does spring to mind though)were but they are the worst tyre ever. Understeer in the dry ..................down rightdangerous in the wet. Was quite glad to blow one of em dureing the Loch Lomand Run , gave me an excuse to change em.

Thats the thing they aint a BMW, totally different brand with differing brand values etc . Dont get me wrong I see all the faults with them and dont live with them so I do tend to paint a poor picture, I have no doubt there are loads out there with no probs at all ........................... must be at least one []

can give ya any info ya want about em, kinda know em inside and out. Ten reasons NOT to own one 1. Rattles 2. Gearbox is made of Chocolate in earlier ( <05 MY) 3. Clutches are made of thinner chocolate 4. Rear brakes have some " issues" 5. Seats have "issues" 6. Water ingress , comes with free sprinkler system when it rains 7. Electrics .......... em well aye uh ....... they have a wee prob or 6 8. PAS noisy and other probs 9. RUN FLAT TYRES 10. Seriously you should hear the rattles [] Reasons to own a mini 1 and only 1 ................. they are seriously good fun

Well alls I can say is John S, Jools, Ken and everyone else did great job organising and staffing the event, Guys take a bow you all deserve it. I apologise for not pulling weight but I was feeling a tad em ..........................................."sore", next time I will be more me. Total raised was incredable , your generosity has blown me, and no doubt the other areas who will benifit, away. Again John , thanks for allowing us to collect for this charity. Huge thanks to Brian ( Rallye6) Gus ( em Gus) and Tam for creating the stickers for donation to Santa Cruise, need more member like yourselves guys, you are a real credit to SIDC. To all the guys I met, and the others I never got a chance to, you made it a great day and created a great atmosphere, overall glad I mad the trip up. Anyways welling up here [] so I'll get on.......... pics to follow on a post somewhere.

ok spoke to a few folks today about going upto Alford, now I m sposed to be there early ie 9 am ( no surprises there then) so Im leaving the house at 6 am. So if anyone wants to join me feel free.......... please note I have the club stuff in the boot so no heroics.
