Well found the source of my exhuast blow............ uppipe gasket again, this is the 3rd or 4th time I have blown this gasket, convinced I have a faulty up pipe [] Anyone else have any probs or am I the only unlucky sod Spooks

Have this all the time, I believe there is an updated ( and expensive no doubt) alarm module you can buy to stop this from happening. HTH Spooks

We can but hope, we need someone with a knocklink to try it out an report on any probs. I know its 100ron but BP claim there "ultimate" is 98 and lights up a few Knocklinks like Christmas. Anyone else think Shell will Fleece us when this goes on general sale or is it just me being the normal sceptic? Spooks

OK if its a newer common rail engine it will defo do damage. The car may appear to be fine for several months but after some time it will cause irrepairable damage to both the injectors and high pressure pump. If you havent driven the car then you can drain the tank and get away with it but its now pretty common for bills of £2.5K+ to replace the ENTIRE fuel system after a wrong fuel fill up. HTH Spooks

I know a few peeps have these fitted to there cars, was curious as to what you can do via your head unit ie what can you control? Does the head unit treat the ipod like a CD player and allow only skipping tracks or can you still go through Artists, Albums etc etc ( I doubt it) Any info appreciated. Spooks

Really depends on what your looking for but 42inch plasma here tells you my preferance, the Pioneer is the class leader and with good reason. One point though HD plasma's are great ( especially when watching HD sources) but for SD they may disapoint, just thought I would mention it Best thing I can say is do some research at places like avforums as mentioned, and try and buy from John Lewis for there 5 year warranty........or do what I did and build up a good relationship with a hifi dealer and get a great deal. Been speaking about this at meets for a few months now Billy. We have a RR day with all proceeds going to Santa Cruise, details to follow, as well as another walk across the FRB for charity, again still awaiting confirmation. So come on guys get yer trainers on and suport the Santa Cruise. Spooks

Guys thoroughly enjoyed my 2 days at KH over the weekend, your all a credit to SIDC, Roll on the next one, assuming my sunburn dies down a bit [] Gus hoped you enjoyed yer day out , I'll be the first to say it your a good sport matey. Wish I had went upto JOG now, but other plans so alas only as far as Aviemore............. still loved it, as people said the look on peoples faces in Aviemore were amazing.
