Who said noise is wasted energy? Not true not even close. The reason it gets louder is there is less material in the form of cats to absorb the noise not its wasting energy to make a noise............. trust me these guys are not scientists. Remeber energy cannot be created or destroyed you merely transfer the stored energy so in theory of its easier to expel the gasses then you would have more potential energy to propel your car. been a fan of the Audi group B for many years, gotta be the pinnacle of Rallying IMHO ..... WRC are prolly as fast now but the sheer spectacle of them, have a few DVD's showing the Group B's in action and alls I can say is WOW. Spooks

Its not as easy as that guys and gals. The reason I never put it to the general forum, and I did plan on doing just that, was that I wanted to ensure I could get enough interest in Scotland before inviting Nationwide this may have been a mistake but I feel that if I cant emote Scottish SIDC members how on earth could I ask National SIDC members to attend, I did not mean to offend anyone. As for the whole mindset now of lets see if we can rescue it I wanted to have this all in motion well before now so IMHO its too late. This is a rather big task as is never mind a last minute task with nowhere near enough interest to get it off the ground. For instance if I set the price of tickets of say £40 on the basis that we had 60 people to attend and we only got the interest show in this thread then who would pay the shortfall? People trust me when I say that I dont mean to offend or upset anyone in this but the way things stand I dont think I could do this event any favours by rushing it. Spooks

Runnin RE070's in the winter aint a great idea. Best bet is do what YOU feel is best for your car and wheels , other people will always differ from what you would do yourself. Most wheels are designed to run all year round though. Spooks

Looks like there is not enough interest in this guys and gals so wont be happening, sorry about that but we realistically needed 50-60 people to make this happen. Thanks to all for their support Spooks
