looking into an august day out after the july shows, as september has a few events already.

fyi have got some interest from some of the ultimate-cruisin members who are tempted to come up with us.

was there not long ago and the food wasnt great, weary ploughman just up the road.

sounds like a plan, maybe a sunday day out with either lunch meet or zoo 1st then evening meal before home. Any preferences, i would suggest the meal afterwards to give us a good day at the zoo. I will look into this then.

Due to the short notice to the Taunton show, a few of us are of the opinion that the theme should be dropped due to lack of time and a number of other reasons. The SWMS theme went well, but we all had more time to prepare and with Taunton being 3 weeks away I feel that we could not pull it off so well without spending large sums of money. I am of the opinion that if we go ahead with the theme for any shows, we should pick a theme for the year and thats it. So for Taunton, we should all be promoting SIDC and would look very good with all members in SIDC t-shirts. Therefore the theme for Taunton is SIDC. Also, we need to limit the activities to enable members to actually have the time to leave the stand for a walk about. Therefore, proposed plans: Theme is SIDC/Subaru - all members to try and wear either an SIDC or Subaru t-shirt. Should any non-SIDC members wich to order a t-shirt to wear for the show, please contact on of the admin members who can place the order for you. If you do not possess any clothing, please attempt to wear a plain t-shirt in SIDC/Subaru colours. 10:00 Staff sponging 12:00 Jam doughnut eating competition 15:00 Raffle & silent auction results 15:30 Show & shine presentation Throughout the day within the gazebo there will be a raffle and a silent auction for a number of prizes. The raffle will be for smaller items & the silent auction will be for the more desirable items donated by various members & suppliers. There will be a BBQ about lunchtime, no exact time, it all depends on when you are hungry. Man thanks for your understanding.
