  4. Thanks guys. We had a cracking day yesterday, and everything went fine until the end of the night when I was larking about with a chair and hit myself in the eye! Now have a black eye coming on, just as we're about to go on our honeymoon!! DOH! Thanks to Dave and Marqerete, and Graham for coming along, and Dave for being unofficial photographer outside the church! We're now off to Canada and Alaska for 2 weeks, see you all soon. Mark...
  5. Dave, Try this guy for a MAF www.importcarpart.co.uk Website doesnt seem to do much today, but heres the number... Tel - 01388 834204 I got one from him a few months ago. He advertises that all his stuff is used, but the one I got looked brand new. And the best bit, it was only £85!!
  6. Kin ell! Thats a bit shiny innit!
  7. Hehe! Im attempting to build myself up a bit, but its not working, as I seem to have the metabolism of a cheetah on speed! [] Maybe I should spend an hour eating pies instead? (How off topic are we now?!)
  8. Nah its too early Im afraid. I also need to drag myself to the gym tonight too!
  9. Hi Dave, Well I meant relative to what it looks like now! Went up for a look last night, and its gone now, just loads of glass left on the road... PS. How come Ive never seen you at QB in the mornings before? Maybe just not been looking! Have seen you every morning recently...[] Im sometimes in the work van though, so if you see someone waving from a small white van, its me!
  10. Thats been sat up there for at least two weeks. It WAS in fine condition. I sometimes have my lunch up there in the van, and spotted it. I thought someone had been 'playing' up there and broken something and had to leave it. Then I heard this on the Manxnet forums today, looks like it had another 'going over' since the pics on there... Very sad []
  11. Hey Crosby Dave and Graeme! Yeah I saw the yellow Lambo and the R8 at QB this morning too. I thought they'd have gone home by now? Apparently theyre either based up at Jurby, or are using the track up there... They were up Marine Drive on Tuesday too! Mark...
  12. Allright young Dave Pipsqueak![] Hope you and Graham got back ok. The new possible car sounds good, did you buy it then? A good weekend was had by us, and was nice to see some old faces as well as new too. See u in Ireland...maybe![] Uncle Mark and Auntie Rach!

  14. Hi Nix, I thought I saw him the other day in a blue 'new shape' Scoob![]
  15. Ooops! Glad I put some on me old baldy head and neck before I got out of the car then![] See you all tomorrow............err today!

  17. Hi Dudes (and Dude-ettes!) Yes, Im melting in the heat too. No aircon in our office, so we have around 87 fans on the go all day! Too hot for working I agree [ip]...I keep finding excuses to pop into the server room that is kept at a lovely 19 degrees! Ah well only a day to go as Im off on Friday for the start of the "JurbyFest"![][H][au] See you all up there... Mark...

  19. Nice one Graeme! Is that the one that was in Glen Coopers? Was going to look at it myself, but knew I'd want it straight away, and cant afford to change at the mo, so I resisted temptation! [] Hope yours goes to to a good home...
  20. Think theres two days normally, one for bikes, one for cars. I had a go last year but I was looking after the car too much so the times were pitiful![:$] Dont think I'll bother again!
  21. >> Sorry Mark, I obviously got the wrong end of the stick on that comment (a very long stick too I think)) please accept my apologies Morning all dudes >> No worries Jimmy, apology accepted, life's too short and all that... Hope your mate is ok. Oh evening.......err hang on..........morning Dudes!
  22. << He went into Snuffies too fast near the end of the day, went off the track to the lefthand side, came back across to the right onto the grass and went sideways into the tyre wall. The car then flipped onto it's roof on the tyres. He's ok though, few cuts from broken glass, whiplash and some bruising. He was lucky it hit passenger side on as that side of the car was destroyed (and I was also lucky to get out a few laps before to take some pictures). Hence why comments about "flat" peugeots etc aren't funny. Especially from people who would rather stand around and spectate than participate. >> Jesus! I was only pissing about man, no need for that FFS! I do think he was very lucky and its a crying shame to see any car like that. Ive loved cars all my life, I was brought up with Motorsport in my veins thanks to my dad (who incidentally is now the clerk of the course up there on track days) I have been involved with rallies, marshalling and timekeeping etc for years so please dont think I dont give a sh1t! I would dearly love to have a go myself, but... A. I freely admit my driving skills wouldnt be upto it B. I have worked hard to afford my pride and joy and would be devastated if I even got so much of a scratch on my it etc... C. Knowing me I'd probably get the 'red mist' on instantly and make a complete mess of the car/myself/other people etc! Apologies for the flippant remark, but I was merely trying to make a dark situation a little lighter! Err dudes!
  23. << Morning dudes I'm off upto the trackday tomorrow with a mate in his Pug 306 Rallye. Should be fun >> You mean the one that looked a bit 'flat' once he'd finished with it?!
  24. Hmmm... What about those 'other' pics you showed me on Saturday Dave?! Or is this a censored forum?!
  25. Hi Mate, Yep I use a bottle of Millers OB on every fill. (I have a Jap '99 STi Type RA) Usually get it from Scoobymania on the net. Costs about £28-30 for a box of 10 bottles so not too bad... As already stated, Richard sells it at Corkills in Onchan, and Ive also got it direct from Millers before too.
