  1. Hi guys and gals As you may know, I am doing the full Lanark to Banbury run with you all, thanks to Andy. I would have loved to have been able to join you on Friday but due to not scouring the forums properly, I didn't see this thread until it was far too late. So, even though I wont be attending, I'd still like to donate a raffle prize and some cash for raffle tickets. I have purchased this to add to the raffle: It'll be in Grey in a Large. I'm afraid it hasn't turned up yet, so I'll either post it on or I'll hand it to the winner on the McRae run on either the Saturday or Sunday. Have a great evening all

  3. Come on guys, i think this is now going too far. I know who closed the thread, it wasn't me as I was counting sheep at the time. I personally think that last night's issue needs to be taken directly with the person involved and now kept off the main forums. I also think that Gemma; Nathan's girlfriend needs to have her own user name, that way people are not confused when either him or her are posting on the forums. As for Yogi and Nathan's little battle right now, I think it needs to stop here and let things drop.

  10. I've had someone ask me a question about the sizes for the girls. I ordered a small, I think that even the small (36") offers quite alot of room for us girlies. Girles, go by your bra back size and add a few inches for the rest then you shouldn't go too far wrong with the correct size. Hope that helps

  17. I've always had problems controlling my weight, it's been the hardest to control since I gave up smoking 3 years ago. But I've learnt some things along the way with a little help from a good friend of mine..... If you don't eat, your body will know about it. It starts to build up a resistance to starving yourself and you don't end up losing any weight. Your body is a smart thing, so don't treat it like an idiot You need to balance your carbs, fat and protein Jac. You need your carbs for energy, but you need the right carbs. Brown carbs, bread, porridge, wholemeal pasta are all slow release carbs which will benefit your more than white.... white carbs just tend to bloat you. Fruit and Veg are both carbs too Try to have a higher protein intake than carbs, but don't stuff yourself full of fatty proteins like burgers or sausages. Grilled Chicken, Fish, Seafood are all good examples. Your body does need fat, but a certain amount and make sure you don't have too much saturated fat (in crisps, cakes, burgers etc).
