  5. I'd like that take this opportunity to welcome three of our SIDC members to the forum's Moderating Team. Stum450N aka Stu BMWhere? aka Alastair StrikE aka Derek I'm sure you'll all join me in welcoming them to the team, I am confident they'll bring lots of fresh ideas to the table for the club. At the same time, I'd like to extend the welcome to Little Green Goblin aka Rachel who was never actually offically announced as a SIDC Moderator. She's done a cracking job so far and I'm sure she'll continue to be an asset to the team. Rachel, Stu, Alastair and Derek join the team that already consists of Granby aka Ian, WRXMANIA aka Brian, Dave.T aka Dave, Shescooby aka Karyn and Crispyduck aka Steve. Alastair will also resume control over the Photo Competition Section as well. A huge thanks go out to all of you for all the hard work you're doing for the club forums Kim SIDC Admin Team

  13. Hi guys, Frankie & Benny's (Goldington Road, Bedford) it is then for our Xmas meal! After feed back from you all we have decided on the 5th December - thanks for all your replies 2 courses costs £14.95p, 3 courses £17.95p - menu below. Party poppers, streamers & crackers will be included in the price and I have "inside information" that there may be one of their jugs of cocktails on the table too I've provisionally booked the table for 7 pm on the 5th. To confirm our booking I now need to collect £5 per head deposit (balance to be paid on the night) - you can either pay this by paypal to Nige or send a cheque to me, just let me know which will be easier for you and I can pm you our details. I will also need to know your menu choice by Friday 20th November at the latest. Think this just about covers it, if I've missed anything just give me a shout. Cheers, Little Green Goblin Facebook events: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=2022...9186#wall_posts

  18. Tuesday is the 22nd September
  19. Try Conders in Peterborough as well 01733 893704. They're a main dealer too, but they may be able to do a little cheaper. My personal preference is Conders over Welch's
  20. webuyanycar offered me just over £5000 for my Audi A3. Book price is still £8000. Managed to sell it privately for £7100 though
  21. Can I just clarify the stand pass issue you've raised guys The reason that unpaid members are not offered stand passes is down to the Club's Insurance Scheme. If your car was damaged at a show, that was caused by... lets say that club marquee blowing into it and denting a door. The insurance would only be valid if you were a paid member. That's only of the clauses I'm afraid and that's why established users don't get offered a stand pass I'm afraid. As for the lack of attendance of the summer action day, just a suggestion, but are these events posts outside of your regions? You might increase your exposure at these shows in they're listed in the national events section
  22. It was a slow process, but we got there in the end. We just need to content to fill it now
  23. Cheers Stephen

Now, get your news articles over to me to add to the site. This is YOUR site Kim@sidc.co.uk Kim
