Just checked the website and indeed you are correct. I thought it used both but it seems it's just the accelerometers

Performance Creation Mud Flaps For An Early Classic ?
~ ~ Cal ~~ replied to ~ ~ Cal ~~'s topic in Scottish Scoobies
Went ahead and fitted.........as long as you get the right kit out and take your time these things should be a breeze Gear laid oot :- Willing Assistant with early morning bed head to match my own :- Finished Product ( note that the top most hole had to be drilled with a 2mm pilot hole, then clean 6mm hole, filed off) :- Fitted a treat ! Sideways pics are great - the last one of that white GT3RS is awesome - it looks sooooo muscular
-
I shall do some rough tests and let you know my findings. Would be good to compare against a VBOX like evo mag use. CGS

Nae sure but typicallyif you buy an aftermarket knob (e.g Momo Race Air ) they come with adapter to suit various cars. Just clear rubber inserts to ensure a good fit This one matches the steering wheel nicely. I had one and it was excellent Nae the cheapest but look mighty bonny Cal

Cheers Geo - I may quiz you more about this. I have not done anything underneath as yet ( other than spray waxoil on a few small vulnerable spots) Shall wait for the summer and get it on a ramp again for some TLC. Arch - what was the name of that paint you used again - seemed to be good stuff ( unless you got it on yer coupon !) Jodie - cannot beat old skool. In my teen years I had many favourites but Colin McCrae obviously got me hooked Has anyone got anymore tips in keeping the engine bay in good nick ? I may install a reverse FMIC scoop because i get some water ingress at the moment because of the FMIC install. The cold air is welcome but not at the expense of corrosion. Do you guys ever replaces bushes and the like frequently ? I am also keen to replace all OEM bolts that are not in tip-top condition. I may go bonkers with powder coating at some point too. See you all in 15 years when a Type R gear box in good nick with DCCD etc shall be worth about £10K ! CGS

Anyone got any experience with the iphone and the application http://www.dynolicious.com/ ? Seems pretty ace on the face of it. I am hoping to use it @ KH to generate some jpegs of some laps to analyse braking points etc. Purely out of interest rather than trying to be smart and chase daft milliseconds I studied GPS at Uni so I have some reservations about the accuracy ( & hence precision) but we shall see. Half the battle is calibrating it and then making it secure on your dash when your pulling some "gee". Shall let you guys know my results but has anyone else got any experiences to date ? PocketDyno seems good too and is free Fully expect a reply from the resident techy bloke St3ph3n ! Cal

Love it ! Where will it end ? Dig out the fishnet fire proof suit for weight reduction ? Run the beast on jet kerosene. Keep the thread flowin' and the pics coming

It's occurred to me the all Scoobs are soon to be pretty rare........ 1993 classics are now like 16 years old..... When do you think we'll all start talking about restoration rather then modifying ? My old boy used to own old MG's, Lotii Elans, Mini's, Scimitars etc and he basically restored them all and drove them as they ought to be driven. Question is :- When will we slide into the pipe and slippers phase and old be like auld badgers at an auto mobile club ? A concours competition, a picnic and them some pimms. OR will we still all be belting round KH and trying to get 2000 bhp out of these beauties. I ask this question as I am slowly modding but also doing a lot of preventative maintenance and replace dubious bumpers, re-spraying sections and rust proofing right now. It's basically future proofing. I notice guys like Arch spend a lot of time scrubbing and undersealing etc. Cheers Aristotle

An RS is white would be nice ( err.........with 4WD and a burble !) They are deeply impressive, look imposing and the evo journo's seem to love it ( brown envelopes to evo towers or the birth of a real weapon) Cal

Well worthy of a Megane RS v Focus RS debate :- Bloody good driving in here ! Anyone tempted by the RS or R26 ? Cal

Performance Creation Mud Flaps For An Early Classic ?
~ ~ Cal ~~ replied to ~ ~ Cal ~~'s topic in Scottish Scoobies
bump ! keen to fit but car is just back from some nice mechanical and cosmetic work so I'd rather not go drilling unless I need to ! Pics to follow - have now spent waaaay too much money on the old gurl ! Life's too short -
Very yellow, very fast but utterly alluring ! Been watching this thread from Paris on the iphone and have not got onto a keyboard until today - lovely motor Grant. I am hoping "she" will be deployed like the Japs intended her to be I NEED video footage though. So can you and Imy get yer derriere's down to the Clyde Tunnel and acquire some flash media ce soir When she's been seen by the Doctor F I look forward to seeing the fun pedal getting well & truely buried. This car /driver combo should be called FRUIT & NUT'ter Cal

Always love these pics ! You must have a serious image library by now ! Anyone clocked the subtle decal above the Bruces Taxi Yellow Evo ? It's a shame it's a bit of a true statement in this instance Big fan of the mid-spin pics and anything involving flames ! Every thought about making some HD movies from your chosen vantage points ? Keep it RAW Cal

Performance Creation Mud Flaps For An Early Classic ?

Folks, Looking for some simple help here......... Bought said flaps and they fit a treat at the front However, according t the instructions for the rear flaps they are affixed by 3 holes............looking @ my 1993 import I only have 2 holes. I am happy to do some drilling but wondered what others have done here ? Does the later classics have 3 holes for the bracket ? On the piccy below the flap at the top is for the front ( 2 holes for the black plugs) but the rear has 3 ...... It's the V2 ones I have bought ( http://www.performancecreations.co.uk/vers...hdnVersionID=26 ) I went for my own white smaller Prodrive stickers incidentally... Tried calling them but phone rings out Cheers Cal -
As they say on the NASIOC forums ...... " do not like "
-
Equal Length headers Grunt ? Sounds like it on the video clip..........sounds absolutely sexual !
-
That is a special beastie Grunty ! Nae so sure about the alloys but it's part of the appeal. Sounds like it will go like smit of a shovel though..... I think I have the DVD somewhere if you want the original for nowt ? Can we expect to see the Bananamobile @ KH sometime soon Respect once again for the purchase ! Cal
-
If someone finds that thread for me I'll give them eternal respect
-
Gotta respect the chappie for flingin' in a 20 G despite early ownership and warranty issues ! http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1699044 It's pretty to rare to hear of any new style STi to have radical mods like that Cal
-
What year is your classic ? Mine is an MY93 and has 4 bolts so my STi4 spoiler was a direct fit....... You'll find another two bolts under the black rubber dampers - use pliers to get them out. Remember to seal the gaps somehow otherwise you'll get water ingress which will corrode your boot Cal
-
I love his his advert says " NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE"..................how ironic ! Hope you get your dough.
-
Thumbs up for FancyPlates.Com too.........I hated the long ersed number plate on The Patriot so got L9 BPM on Ebay for only £99 ! Just fitted them tonight :- They'll cut ( neatly !) to any size you wish All legit but no BS Standards mark either - passed it's MOT with Weeb's funky ( Standard Ireland ? ) font too Cal p.s I also have an non-ironing board for the first time in 4 years of Scooby ownership - fitted this week but needs painting
