  1. Guys, I would not botherv getting the RGIT training in advance. When you join a company they are obliged to provide you with that training by law. I agree that it may give you a leg up but I would hold off doing it until you get interviews etc. I suppose it's different if you contracing though (as opposed to staff job) Cheers Cal ( ex. offshore hydrographic surveyor.........now a desk jockey [8-|])

You'll never experience your whip with it's cats removed [] Are you retaining your moderator duties my good man ? Liking the gunmetal colour if that's what you've gone for Cheers Cal
  9. Hey Peter, Glad to hear your having a good time. I was there for St. Paddy's day a few years back. Harvard Uni is worth a wander round too. Newbury Street is quality eh ! Unless you are a fan of cheers I'd give it a body swerve as we were in and out in two minutes. Qunicy markets and the harbour is quite cool ( lots of Irish bars there) Enjoy the rest of yer stay mate Cheers Cal

  11. Russell, I will definately take your place if you cannot make it as that date suits me nicely Cheers Cal
  12. Aberdonian Peeps, I need a slight tweak to my existing map so my session which would take 2-3 hrs ( i.e shorter than normal) If I got Andy up on a day that suited would 2 other additonal people be interested in getting mapped ? Given his tight schedule and my honeymoon etc I would propose a date sometime after the 10th August Gogsie, Craig Mac ? are you interested ? It can be tricky to get three folk to get mapped on the same day so the chances are you'd have to take a day off work ( unless we can wrangle a Saturday slot - unlikely) " A custom remap (also known as Tek3) has a RRP of £650. Volume discounts are available on this price and typical 'group buy' prices are £500-£550 depending on the number of cars booked in. Phone or email for details of the latest offers available. The above price is for the initial custom mapping which includes the licencing fee for the ECU. Subsequent mapping of a licenced ECU is £200 if it my own base map or £350 if starting with another tuners base map. Mapping is also available throughout the UK and Europe at an additional cost of £200 for the 1st day. 2-3 Cars can be mapped per day, splitting the cost. Any 'group buys' will attract further discounts and travelling costs of £80 per subsequent day. Typically splitting the travelling cost down to only £56 each car if there are 5cars being mapped over 2 days " More info here :- http://andyforrestperformance.co.uk/16280/index.html Regards Calum
  13. That's not too disasterous given the air temperature on the day. The same run in March may have easily yielded 300 bhp. A remap should see you gain another 30 -40 bhp with muchos torque. The switchable map is real cool as well I always thought PPP claims were never that accurate anyways e.g a WRX putting out 260 bhp would likely be nearer 240-245 bhp ? Sorry for not being able to hang around any longer but i did get the chance to meet a few new coupons [] Cheers CGS
  14. I think the joke is on Henman to be fair !
  15. Mac-attack, What BHP were you making on the rollers ? Just curious to see Does anyone have list for every car that was on the RR ? Cheers Cal

  17. I researched this topic BIG TIME and came to the conclusion that mimicking a CD changer was a pants way to control it. Also looked at the Denison links. In the end I opted for an Alpine 9850 Ri Full Speed Headunit and a Forrester Pocket http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?...ighlight=9850Ri http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_in...roducts_id=4679 Looks something like this when installed ( which was a doddle) The other options are cheaper but will be SLOW and annoying ! Cheers Cal
