  1. Ashoka in Byres Road ( Ashton Lane) - plenty of nice pubs for post-grub swally too ?
  2. Advice on emailing Andy :- Clear email title e.g " C.Shand >> Request for mapping Session - seeking dates and your mobility ?" When you reply to him try and include the same spiel rather than having a blank title. This reason for this is that Barbara ( his wife) will occasionally sift thought his (large) inbox and sort out the admin. side looking for bookings etc if he is away on busness e.g 2 days mapping in Aberdeen for instance The above will help you get a speedier reply. It also helps if you briefly list your key mods and exact model of Scoob. And remember when you do call him between 9-5 the chances are he'll be mapping a car. Leave a succinct message and the Wizard will call you back. Hope this helps Cal p.s if all else fails then masquerade as Higgy ! I believe he has a dedicated red flashing Bat phone in Andys house due to his mapping addiction edit for spelling of masquerade
  3. Have a look in here :- http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtop...p;hl=thundercat Cheers Cal

The VLN dates are firm though and the other dates are based on 2007 experience How many of you have told yourself you must go and never done anything about it !? Budget wise :- £800-900 will cover fuel, ferry, ring tickets food & booze ( way cheaper if you have a paxxer with you i.e to half ferry & hotel room costs) Cheers Cal
  8. Andy is unlikely to fit your section.Local garage could do it for £20 if you are refering to the decat link pipe. To get a downpipe fitted is circa 1.5 hrs labour though Loudest I know of is the Turbo XS RFL. Not cheap too buy though. Most advice against VTA dump valves but if you do then go for the HKS, Forge or Blitz. Baileys are not really recommended though Cheers Cal
  9. Click here :- http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtop...p;hl=thundercat the above is un-readable
  10. Blob eyes start life with 225 bhp but the above will have similiar results.
  11. Seano - I presume have seen this crackin' 41 page long thread ? Tis' a good read http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-spec-c-...age-1-a-40.html CGS
  12. Desire is a wonderful thing ! If I were in your shoes I would be content with what you have ? You have a crackin' car with well over 300 ponies. Unless you are doing tracks days I would stick with the more comfortable car you already have. Or get an FMIC and a bigger turbo ! Having said that, white Spec C''s are the horses hot one
  13. Ferodo 2500's from Alyn @ AS Performance for me too..........they work wonders with 5.1 & braided hoses CGS
  14. Andy F is your man - he has travelled as far as the States, Europe & Barbados mapping cars. I am sure he'll drop in soom to comments accordingly
  15. agreed - mine has performed nicely over the last 2.5 years

  17. Just come off the A90 and onto the flyover towards Cove at Charleston ( been coming from the Portlethen direction........) As I came round the bend on the exit of the circular section I saw a Nissan Skyline was lodged in the bushes half way up the armco barrier. I can only imagine this guy hit full boost on exiting the bend and the suspension compression when the weight tranferred across has pung him into the bushes. Weirdly the car is about1.5 metres in the air above an armco teetering in some dense bushes. It was a silver R33 and had "police aware" stickers on it Anyone heard anything ? Poor fella must have got a hell of a fright. Cheers Cal
  18. See below - best to avoid but if you do fit one get a Forge, HKS, Blitz or TurboXS one
  19. Still nae sure if it has a "wharmer" or not ! Cheers guys
  20. Cheers - my current scoob is staying put but the chassis of the new pram only fits in with a shoe-horn. We have the Milf mobile for that (Golf) Andy - the 9 months went quickly so be warned Cheers Cal
  21. 6 months since I wrote this first post I am now firmly into the drop zone - wife, Natalie is now 2 days over due... Will keep y'all posted Faither
