I dont read car mags for the same reason a dont watch DIY on telly. 1. They always say things are simple. 2. They always got loads a money to spend, plus they got all the kit that would cost a DIY a grand to get. 3. They always got some other sod to do the work off camera or do the work for the photo shoot. Watch that Car is born, the fat guy with the beard is the brains in that outfit, no not the lazy producer guy, he dont know his giblet from his cam belt. The other one who makes breif appearences when they get to difficult bits. 4. They always miss a bit out and its the important bit, cause you get to that bit and dont have a clue. well a do every bleeding time. 5. Trust me am a joiner, Handy Andy on them DIY programmes, cant join hands let alone cut a bit of MDF. Watched him fit a door and lock, he aint handy hes a liberty.

alistair_learmonth replied to alistair_learmonth's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Went into Halfords and had a look. New road Angel £349 B2 £429 Both free fitting to connect direct usually £39 Both free six months but the yearly cost are higher for the B2, though I have been informed the B2 is quicker with updates to register cams, etc. -
Just done my bugeye with bosch they are No21 and No18.

Gus, I think it was around £150 fitted with a wire loom at £9 extra. He was fitting my dump valve at the time and I may have got it all a**e from t*t, as a was busy gabbing at the time, lol.
-
Glad you made it round (Yes its a 1.6), watched you after speaking to you in the pits prior to you going out. Saw you do a few laps prior to the weather getting the better of me and departing for home. Thanks for the pics of the Ford lads.
-
Put myself down for fitting the above in a fortnight at Hypertek. Does it do everything it says on the tin? Whats other peoples findings after fitting?
-
Whats people opinions of these devices, whats the pros and cons? Whats the best type?

The cossie was blistering mate. Shame about the pics, but at least you remembered your camera, me a discovered my numptyness passing through Blairingone and no camera. The lotus silver in your fourth pic was pushing it when i was watching. I saw the 1.6 sport going round, hope he enjoyed his first time.
-
What about a pic of the RS Cosworth (500 bhp aledged) that was burning round or the VW Scirroco as it flamed going down the home straight, some of the wee kit cars were fairly flying round. The Silver Skyline looked good along with one of the black Evo's. I take it the kit car that went off on the grass and stopped the track, did it go back on. Was that the 1.6 Sport in the picture. But it was for ducks the weather like, cold and wet.

wot can you say, ***t happens.

Parking is prob at those car parks. Today I parked in my bay same space both sides, came back and this old tank of a renault espace with more dents than a stock banger. It was abandoned sitting in the angle it turned in, there was no space to open the rear doors. Baseball bat nah, PP9 Battery in a sock, give them a fair old ding.

Looked at the link, what about black with pink logo STi. To go with ma other pink bits, better get back to the sun bed lol
