Guys, I'm going to organise another Karting day in July, and want to guage interest before making the booking. The date/time I originally had in mind has already gone as I took too long to get my finger out, but here's what is currently available : 9th July 9:30am or 12:30pm 16th July 9:30am or 3:30pm 23rd July 9:30am or 3:30pm I've gone for a Saturday as it worked quite well last time with the social afterwards, but if there's no interest, I can try for a Sunday. Format will depend on numbers, but I was thinking about the same format as last time (individual races rather than team endurance). One of my thoughts was to invite some of the other car clubs along too, and work out some kind of points system so we can have a SCOOBY vs EVO vs GTR vs TVR vs LOTUS type thing going on. Perhaps just add the top 5 point scorers from each club together to give a total for each car type. Just a tohugh, but obviously depends on getting numbers from you guys first, then a few from the other clubs too. Cost will be same as last time at £47.50, half of which will be payable fairly soon so I can book it up. Venue will be Raceland as it's the best (IMHO). Maybe we should all throw in £50 to the pot, and use the extra to buy the winning team a nice SIDC t-shirt each (or a case of beer! ) So, any interest? Dave

You're getting a very biased view so far as no-one (AFAIK) who's commented actually has a Legacy !! One of my mates sold his impreza wagon when his first son was born, bought a people carrier, got sick of that and bought a Legacy GTB. He loves it and now has 2 sons, 2 dogs and copes fine. If you're thinking of getting seriously into modding, the impreza is probably a better route, but if you're likely to be happy with standardish power, I'd seriously consider the GTB for it's extra space. Never driven it, but been in it a few times and it's got a bit more of a classy feel about it. Finding one might be trickier though, as they're not that common. I'll email Paul now and ask if he wants to comment directly..... Dave

Ian and Ian, I'll check out the exhaust tonight and let you know what I want for it. As far as I remember it was pretty good condition, but it's been a while since I've seen it as it was hiding behind my Scoobysport system !! I originally bought it to put on my Sti 5 for MOT's, but it's been sold for a while now so is longer of any use to me (the P1 still has it's cats). I'll check out what other goodies I've got and probably put up a full list tomorrow. You've got first/second shout on the zorst though. Dave

Sorry I couldn't make it along earlier and missed most of the chit-chat, but sounds like some good progress was made. Kudos to Scott for addressing the issues head on. Not far wrong there Ian !! - Wheels - Calipers/hubs - Door - Bumper - Tailgate I've still got a windscreen and an OEM exhaust that I just remembered about too !! Anyone got a bare shell I culd buy !!??!! No rush on the brakes - just let me know when you're done with them. Dave

I'm still in the process of clearing out my garage and shed, and behind one of the stegasauruses I found a rear bumper for an impreza! Completely forgot I had it to be honest so it's going for a super cheap price if anyone can use it. It'll need rubbed down and painted as it's a bit scruffy, but if you've got a damaged one that needs replaced, here's your answer. Open to offers but don't want a fortune for it. Bear in mind they are over 200 notes from a dealer though !! It's currently reddish blue (I think), but that shouldn't be relevant as it should really be painted anyway. Quick pickup would be appreciated (Edinburgh). Dave
