Hello there folks, well im going to be abit contraversial (wouldnt be the first time...lol)
I missed the vote the other Thursday about where our Sant Cruise fund should go, I thought the whole ethos of the event was to raise money for sick kids in hospital over the Christmas period and turn up with our cars all brightly decorated and go in the wards with a couple of members dressed up as santa to make the kids feel a bit special and brighten up their day.
At the moment the Jerviswood trust is just a bank account and we would not be physicaly there so see the kids faces, I think we are going away from the basic principal of Santa Cruise and therefor continue as whe had planned just weeks earlier by raising money and buying presents for the sick kids hospitals and Robin House (which for those who dont know is a residential care center for terminaly ill children) and keep the Santa Cruise idea going.
We have no doubt that the Jerviswood trust would be an excellent charity to give to, and which we will be giving to next year when we organise a run to celebrate Colins life and raise money for his family's chosen charity.
We need to take a step back and look as I think were running into things to quickly at the moment
Lets leave Santa Cruise "As Is" for now
I have no objection to some of the money raised going to jerviswood trust but not all
