  1. I'm the same Kenny, I was toying with the idea of selling mine and buying a (standard ) hawkeye STi, but I think I am just going to keep it now and mod as and when I get bored with the performance. I'll be watching your progress / figures etc if you do a project thread........ Fraser
  2. Lookin' good, I loved the sound of the Prodrive backbox on my last scooby - not too loud, just a nice burble.
  3. Sorry to hear that Kenny, I've just been looking at the same thing myself - it's not cheap, is it??
  4. I seem to get it all the time as well..........of course I'm FAR too mature to take the bait
  5. I think he's saving that for Saturday night!! Good to see you both back in a Scooby Jon, all the best for Saturday night - are you getting nervous yet?
  6. I was reading about this today in an American modified car magazine I got in an American base out here. The car looked the buisness in the article, dropped by about 5 or 6mm lower than previous hatch models. They gave it a really good write up as well......
  7. A Subaru HATCHBACK........that'll never catch on
  8. Looks realy good mate. I've just enquired about getting mine done when I get back to the UK, after sitting in a carpark for 3 months I think it will deserve a bit of TLC (after a service and an MOT). He's just along the road from me as well
  9. This has happened before in Carnwath when I lived there......a guy tried to abduct a young boy, who luckily managed to escape. The guy got caught trying it again and the young lad recognised him when it was reported in the news.
  10. Matt black all over
  11. My guess would be that the previous owner had a cone filter (or similar) fitted. If you stick a post up in the "wanted" section of the forum, I'm sure someone will have the bit you are after laying around.
  12. Hutch is right - you will be sucking hot air which is obviously not as good as cold denser air from the front (or inner wing if you have it fed from there) a standard one should look like this.... http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e21/scoo...20stuff/air.jpg
  13. Neil. I've noticed over the last few years the forum has it's ups and downs (in my opinion!) and there is always the odd bit of friction, but don't give it all up - get out and enjoy your car (both of them!!). Who else is going to cook the steak at the BBQ (that I'm going to be missing because of work).
  14. Welcome to the club mate - let the mods begin
  15. Awesome driving skills by that French fella!
  16. Done.
  17. Sorry Lewis, I just spotted this thread. I have the mods mentioned above and it drives really well, not massive power compared to some cars on here but really good for road driving, spools up quickly and just keeps pulling. I am so happy with the set up I am not planning on any more mods (not performance ones anyway ).
  18. I have a fully de catted turbo back Hayward and Scott (3") and de catted STi upipe ( for track use only obviously) and it's a nice sound. I'll take a wee vid clip for you and send you it if you want to hear how it sounds mate. Fraser
  19. Hello and welcome mate - lovely looking car, looking forward to seeing it at the Glasgow runs.
  20. PSSSSHHHHT all the way for me, I have one fitted and love the noise! I don't think there is any noticable difference in performance though. Fraser aged 10 and 3/4
  21. Some familiar roads for some of us.........
  22. I was thinking the same thing, mine is a 51 plate and a newage.
  23. I got the same jacket from T K Max for around the same price when Subaru pulled out of the WRC. Well worth the money!
  24. Excellent write up and results........I just wouldn't want to drive it home and get it all dirty again
  25. Looking good Del, the spots make a MASSIVE difference to the front end.......where did you get the tints done?
