  1. Must have missed that when it was on TV - thats the first time I've been on i-player, good find.
  2. I was getting a wee bit worried about mine as well but it turned up exactly 28 days after I placed the order, it's worth the wait.
  3. Cheers for all the positive comments ......
  4. Will do Grant, I need to wait until Sunday morning to go down.
  5. I am now able to go.....anyone else going down early on Sunday morning?
  6. I won't be able to make this one now due to a lack of baby/dog sitter. Gutted.
  7. Higgy I've only met you once at the highland run and you seemed a genuinely nice fella (in a hetrosexual way of course, not wanting to go down the road of mickeyB ) It would be a shame for you to jack it in.
  8. Steve, they were on it when I bought it, if you PM JCSCOOB on here he should be able to tell you where he got them from.
  9. Already thought of that but I think I will leave them black with black flaps and a black front splitter.......each to there own.
  10. Ha Ha, looks like a set of mudflaps is next on the list then.........
  11. They are 17s but that was through choice, a combination of 18s, Prodrive springs and South Lanarkshire finest roads would to TOO bone rattling!!
  12. It was a nice day, I just kind of got carried away....... Mudflaps and a front splitter are next on the list, I just need to check the clearance for getting into my garage with the spltter.
  13. You weren't joking when you said they were a bitch to keep clean
  14. After a wee mishap with a lorry on my way up to Hypertech last week which meant I needed to get my windscreen replaced I decided to put on a sunstrip and some wee graphics, rebadge the boot and put some (old) new wheels on. What do think - do you think they suit the car? I like them so they are staying on......at least until the Winter.
  15. Mikey, I will give give you a break down of what everything cost on mine at the meet on Thursday night if you want.
  16. I have exactly the same set up on my 01 WRX, I was up there getting it fitted when you were on the phone to Duncan. I am well impressed with the set up also - totally improves the handling of the car.
  17. Similar thing happened to my BRO's 05 WRX Reading his thread may give you some things to check- http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtop...p;#entry1118049 Hope this helps.
  18. I have just bought a badge to RE-BADGE mine, I think it looks better, but I seem to be in the minority here Here's some photoshopping I done on my last Scooby if it helps....
  19. I've been watching it's progress on the threads, I'm looking forward to seeing it at the meet on the 24th.....
  20. "Thit Austin Martin was in at the same time mmm as i drool over it...." I would still rather have yours.......
  21. The Litchfield type 25 looked amazing (even in bits!!), I will need to keep an eye out for it at Knockhill. I already had the Whiteline rear drop links, rear anti roll bar and front strut brace before I got the anti lift kit fitted today. I noticed a BIG difference when I got them fitted last month, it just felt a lot more planted and solid round corners. Time will tell if I see the same improvement with the anti lift kit.......
  22. Had some more whiteline goodies fitted today, an anti lift kit and got HYPERTECHs fast road geometry supension set up. I just need to find some dry twisties to try them out on I saw the very sick Litchfield type 25 that's up there at the moment, what a car, is it anybody on here?
  23. Yes thats right, it's just to monitor the boost I'm running so it looks as if a Pillar mount pod, and a Vac operated Guage is the way ahead for me. Cheers for all the info above.
  24. I don't have any yet. I was after some advice to see which is better /easier to fit before I get one. By the sound of the above an electronic (DEFI) one is easier to fit. I assume there are other componants of the DEFI system which have to be fitted as well (bare with me on the silly questions ) where as the mechanical gauge can be fitted by itself.
  25. Cheers for the advice above.....seems straight forward enough . You might get a PM or two once I start if you don't mind.
