Been a bit slack over the last few weekends as have been getting back into racing the old bike. New purchase turned up today, going back to a 3" system for when the headers go back on so fitted it tonight; Need to get a 3" gasket as it is blowing at the moment. Silent it is not, and it should be louder once I mod it.

Ecu is still playing up now and then, stalled at halt sign a few times yesterday. Moved on to tarting the exhaust housing and central body, all masked up and ready for some high temp paint; After it had dried; Fitting of oil/water pipes and clamp; Followed by compressor housing (unfinished) and actuator, dry fit; All I can say it better work after all this, no doubt it will look good covered in oil if it goes pop! So just the compressor housing to weld up and polish then fit it.

Should be a good event with all these entries, was speaking to Paul Smith yesterday and he is entering his 400bhp+ 300zx. Just watch your keys everyone if boxer is about else he will be up Bray Hill and gone, prob post the best time doing it! lol[]

Got back to the rebuild at last after spending the last few weeks playing with the ecu trying to get the car drivable. Think it’s more potluck than mapping but it’s at an acceptable level now. Left it needing the compressor housing to be modified, so one hacksaw and some patients; Followed by an angle grinder; We have a cut down housing; As you can see a bit rough to start with; Then test fit the cut off elbow inlet; Needs inlet cutting down to size and then two half’s making flush fit ready for welding. Made a start on tarting the components up! First up actuator and water pipe;

Cheers everyone.[] Rob, I did notice that on a few. Dont know if it's the fact that they are all braking hard for the bend which makes it look like that way or something to do with depth of field.[*-)] Only learning what the camera can do at the moment, sure I'll find out one day.
