  1. good photos Dougie [H] will I just add mine here too? If so here's a few, still to sort them all out yet, but will add more later. Something I said Grant? [] got plenty more, and will sort them tomorrow. It's been a long day and I'm a bit drunk right now [:^)]
  2. a splitter for my hawkeye would be good mate, are these not in the gb?
  3. the problem before was you had it on AV, not TV. I'll try my best to help though, I'm still a noob too [:$]
  4. yeah, she paid for it [] I did buy her a bunch of flowers mind you.. 200 should be good for kh though, my 400 is a bit too much now and again []
  5. does it say 200mm on it? or 400mm? or 800mm? []
  6. [] whats the "big one" just ordered myself a new lens today, will get it tomorrow, it's like christmas all over again []
  7. shutter speed 1/125, ISO 400 (depending if it's sunny, then 200) and in TV mode Dunc [] what lens(es) do you have?
  8. Had an astra gsi, would definitely NOT recommend that from your list. Reliability = 0 I would go for the civic, you can't beat Japanese for reliability.
  9. arghh, the run, forgot about that [:$] How does the 10th June suit for the shoot, presuming the run is still going ahead?
  10. Dunc, I'll try my best [:S] John, not on track I'm afraid, I wasn't going until last night. My wife had other plans for Saturday which have now changed.
  11. no probs with insurance at all, (except that it was group 20) Same as buying one from the UK though [] The warranty is all good. Just remember to register your car with IM (International Motors) for the warrantly to be validated. I have the contact details in the house for them and can pass them your way if you need it.
  12. Hi and welcome to SIDC! I have a new euro import, the price of 21k will not include a tracker or alarm, these will cost you another 1k approx. The euro import will not have the 6 airbags, only 2, but this means you get better seats [] You may have problems getting your service book/warranty sorted out, but just keep chasing whoever you buy the car from and all will be good. The only "downfall" of buying an STi is the fuel, but the smile factor more than makes up for that [] Hope this helps and good luck!
  13. Scott, many thanks for the offer, I could maybe do with a hand on the organising side (which you are very good at). Your help would be very much appreciated mate [] So the list so far is: Neil - Black STi Type-UK Grant - Crystal Grey STi Spec-D Kebab Nemesis - RB320 Chris_k - Blue STiiii Type-UK
  14. Peter, plans for Saturday have changed and I will be at knockers! YIPPEE []
  15. So the list so far is: Neil - Black STi Type-UK Grant - Crystal Grey STi Spec-D Kebab Nemesis - RB320
  16. Iain, speak nicely to Gav, you can afford one mate [] Gus, I think co-ordinating something like this will be a bit tricky, so separate days for each model would be preferred. I would be up for it though! We'll see how this one goes first []
  17. congratulations mate, I look forward to seeing some piccies!
  18. no no no, it's not like that at all. It's all part of my plan that all cars are the same. You could all come though and we can do shoots in stages?
  19. p.s. for those who don't have a hawkeye, you have 2 weeks to buy one []
  20. Evening, I had a wee thought (now my head hurts) and wondered if any hawkeye owners fancied a wee photoshoot? I have some good locations in mind, I just need more cars [] Fancy it? The shoot will take place just outside Edinburgh or there abouts. You will all get copies of the original photos ofcourse. Put your name down if you are free on 3rd June (presuming the weather is nice) Cheers, Neil. 1. Neil
  21. ok, I'm the one who doesn't, who is he? I can take a guess and say Andy F? Never seen/met the bloke before, but if 9/10 of us know who he is then it must be him []
