That was really lucky by the looks of the part at the t-piece!!! Glad nothing bad happened mate!!!! Is that just heat damaged or just poor pipe?? I am going to be changing my fuel pipes just shortly, whats the best pipe to install?? Jase

Hi, Ive just bought myself K-sport 8pot brake kit for the front of my car (99 classic)......so i want to change my rear brakes, i have got myself a set of 2pots from a 2002 subaru so that i can upgrade 1pots to two pots, i have also got the brackets etc!! I now want to buy grooved discs but what do i buy?? Do i buy discs for a 2002 subaru.....do they fit correctly over my brake shoes etc?? is it 290mm discs i need?? You help would be much appreciated!!! Jason

Im now in Turkey offshore from Istanbul so thats that buggered lol I got fecked about last time i was home so didnt want to rush the job.....i get back on the 5th so i am starting it they day after!!! I have booked a month off work so i have plenty of time to do it properly......also doing my brakes (8pot K-sport) and im also getting the apexi oot and a Simtek with anti lag and launch control fitted :D cant wait!!! When i start the job i will take pics of the process and post them up!!! Jase

I would have thought putting an air filter on wouldnt have really made you run lean as your maf sensor tells your ecu how much air flow its getting and it should therefore plonk in enough fuel......but hey im prob wrong!! lol If it was me i would throw on all the goodies then drive it really easy up to andy for a map! I know what you mean....i have also gone the same way as you and Dunk and i have ended up spending loads on extras!!! but hey.....its all good fun!!!

I would think you could get 350bhp reliably with what you have plus an apexi with a good map!!! Wouldnt think there would be any need in going for V2 heads...yours should be ok!! you don't really need to go uprated head bolts etc as you only need to go for that when your going down the big boost route......the uprated head bolts then help stop head lift!! If i were you i would also get it mapped for a 10% methanol mix as that will keep the det right down low and methanol is cheap as chips!!! Thats my opinion Jase
