Yeh cheers for the info Arch, he seems like a good guy!! should have them back towards the end of the week so will get the block mouted in the car etc then get the fuel pipes all made up etc Do you have any advise on pipe lengths from the pressure regulator and fuel filter etc or any pics that would help me?? I am going to re-mount my fuel pressure regulator in the middle at the back. Cheers Jase

Well got my fuel rails all cut and cleaned up then sent off to maf from scoobie net to modify so that i can fit the braided hoses!! Should be getting my engine on tuesday so some good pics to come shortly Jase

Is it a case of me just sending my fuel rails to him and he sends me the ones like in the pic?? Also what size of braided hose etc do i need to buy....also what happens when you need to connect the braided hoses to the normal fuel filter?? Sorry for all the questions just need to get all the info and get right on it as i need my car back on the road before i go offshore again

I cant believe it but i will have to take my name off the list!! I had booked the day off work all set for it.....car should be ready.....then my girlfriend drops a bomb shell!!!!! Its her sisters twins Christening on that day as they have just booked it!!! sooooooo pissed So obviously i have to go to that.....would prefer the other but you all know how that would go down!!! how unbelievable is that!!! I am away to do the parallel fuel mod and have the write up on how to do it, but i have come across an issue!! My fuel rails look different than the one in the picture that shows you how to do it, my fuel rail is completely hard piped and even cutting the pipes, i wouldnt get the lengths right to give equal fuel pressure!! In the write up it says you need "x2 PASSENGER side fuel rails (no fuel pressure regulator on passenger rails)"....but even using 2x passenger rails like the one on my car it wouldnt be right!! my car is a 99, are there fuel rails from another year that would fit my car and has the elbows at each side like in the first picture?? My rails!! Cheers Jase

I just got a wire brush tool that fits in any old drill and used the air tool at the garage im doing all my work at....came up great, just takes a while, well worth it though!! Then sprayed it all with clear heat paint so it stays that way!
