I would say your playing a dodgy game running in a new engine thats not standard without a suitable map.....my new CDB 2.1 stoker engine is going into my car next week and with the advice of engine tuner who built the engine and the guy who is going to map my car they all say a run in map is essential.....its a large price to pay if a run in map only costs about £150.........just how its been put to me and from what ive read on the net!!! Good and bad things.....if your going for a straight cut ppg it is bomb proof but only thing is its noisy in gears 1 to 4 as you keep your standard 5th gear!! I think its a good idea!!

That evo looks really quick.......all i can say is well done to the ax driver for getting it to go like that......and for beating an evo, i like it when evo's get beat lol

Cool, that sounds good to me, when driving about its just under 90......but after a bit of a mess about it was just below 100!!! think i will get an oil cooler when i change the block!!! Dunk.....i bet you miss your car!! i will be like that soon, alan has my CDB now!!! Jase

Could someone please help.........im wondering what the oil temp should be around on a 99 classic without an oil cooler, just fitted defi gauges and its around 90'c when driving about!! is this ok?? Cheers

Why are you replacing the inlet manifold gaskets??

My car wont even start with the maf unplugged but that must be due the the apexi ecu, when my maf failed, it was total loss of power, then engine cut out and wouldnt start again!!
