  1. Must Take Ages Typing With A Capital Letter At The Start Of Each Word Mate - Yip It Does - Good Luck In Finding One!
  2. - That's brilliant MM. I've tried the old pen and paper thing with finance business but she has found me out. Now, I like to just say a fraction of the cost. Keeps both parties happy
  3. Just make the plunge mate. My gf didn't like impreza's at all before I got one but it all changed once she had been in one and appreciated them for what they are. If she is that dead against it then maybe think twice but if it's just "i'd rather you didn't" then that can be presueded otherwise. To be fair they are quite practical with a massive boot, child seat harness, 5 doors and car overtake safely. Albeit the fuel economy is not the greatest! Let the storm settle and get one on your drive...
  4. Good advice. I've been on the hunt sine December

  11. Have a read through this forum. I had a read at the first dozen or so and it might help you. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/archive/in...hp/t-81843.html
  12. How does it feel on smooth roads? I think you need a hovercraft to go around the roads in Edinburgh, mate. "The Whiteline anti-lift kit is the one that started it all. Whiteline is a very reputable company from Australia that has been making suspension parts for subaru's for years. This piece changes the mounting point for the lower control arm in increase caster. This gives the car a quicker steering response and will lower lap times greatly. There are 3 versions of this kit. Normal, Race and Comfort. Comfort is for people that are people who want little to no increase in NVH(in cabin noise) with a little lose of performance when compared to the normal ALK Normal is the original ALK. It is the middle of the road kit. It gives a increase of performance with a mild increase in NVH. Race is for the all out performance. This is made for people that are not worried about NVH at all and want the best performance." Taken from Rally sport direct.com...
  13. I have a set of these in the box somewhere, unused obviously. Cost around £43 from Pentland Components I think it is in Edinburgh. I will be selling them for £30 once I find them!
  14. I reckon the valuation means nothing on insurance. It's only when you get an "agreed price" through specialists that it means anything. If you claim through mainstream insurance companies they will just use the current market prices and knock you down.
  15. I've PM'd the guy about the car as i'm on the hunt for one. I forgot to question the 52 plate...It must be illegal as you can make your car look older than it is?
  16. Just noticed it's the same backdrop as WRXMANIA's picture
  17. Thanks for the input. A few cars i've been looking at and can all be found on PH. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1324983.htm
  18. Thanks guys. If I was buying then I would get a RAC check on the car anyway. I realise that the can is 12/13 years old but it's just some have full red manifold and some have part and some have no red on the manifold. I realise that you need to check the feel of the car etc but I thought maybe that this was the tell tale signs of a "boy raced" car.
  19. As some of you may know, I'm on the look out for a Type R - standard or modified but in good condition. I've not viewed any yet as i'm not planning to buy until late Feb/March. I've seen a good few I like but I would like to ask your opinions. If the red paint is chipped or flaking on the manifold then is this a sign the car has been ragged and not looked after? Any help is welcomed... Steve
  20. I'm infront of the google car for 1/2 mile in Edinburgh when I had a celica
