  1. That would be my bet. By the way you describe the noise it could be something hitting the wheel well as its hollow so the noise would be similar to the wooden spoon and pan
  2. I couldn't get in or out that car with a straight face. I'm slagging it off because it's horrible!
  3. HERE IS MY COLIN MCRAE IMPRETZA TURBO EXELANT CONDITION DRIVES GREAT AND LOOKS GREAT THIS CAR REALLY TURNS HEADS IT PRO DRIVE EXAUST AND ECU TINTED WINDOWS,CLEAR LIGHTS,CD PLAYER ECT 11MONTHS MOT 1 MONTHS TAX ANY QUESTION PLEASE TEXT OR EMAIL I AM LOOKING FOR A CHANGE SO MAY SWAP FOR THE RIGHT CAR A few mistakes in there!
  4. No I totally agree. I think patience is key but thats the frustrating thing about it.
  5. I would take the lower millage one and add to it if/when I wanted to. Since you have a lower millage car then surely the life will be preserved if it's serviced correctly and looked after so that would be a more attractive buy. Prices have been £4k apart as i've just sold my 2003 STi with PPP. Some have gone for £6k others up for over £10k. There is a big difference to what the car is advertised at and what it actually goes for though.
  6. RB 320 are likely to hold thier value as obviously its a special edition. If you can stretch to that then it may be the way to go. If you are looking to modify then I wouldn't go for the GB270 or RB320 as its better to keep them as much as standard as possible within limits. All round package would be the 05-07 STi IMO as the money you save from the 320 can be put into modding or the servicing costs you mention. That's just my input and i'm sure there will be more shortley
  7. I've got Virgin but that's not through choice. I've had Sky previous and found the operating of the system much easier. It's menu is much clearer and speed in which you scroll through the channels without jumping or missing a channel is much better. Obvious advantage of having the red button for sky sports epecially for champions league games. One thing about Virgin that's better is the catch up on demand and whole series of programmes that you can watch. Back on subject it looks as if you should stick to what you have. Why not try phoning up and express your interest to leave and hey presto they will come back with a better deal in the form of faster broadband, more channels or cheaper subscription. It's all about keeping you happy!
  8. I'm sure it has an advantage for football offering games that's not on Sky or VM. I would stay stick with Sky+HD as you have the pinicle of tv packages! Although, if you are looking to cut back then look into it a bit more.
  9. Welcome along! - Looking forward to the pics
  10. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&s...mp;aq=f&oq= First thing that comes up is this thread on google...doesnt seem promising.
  11. Anymore progress, Barry? Worth a bump for a good read anyway...
  12. I don't want to get into a classic v newage debate because what's the point in that? My dads bigger than your dad etc. I was just looking for an insight to see how people felt about going to a classic after they have had a newage. The results seem very positive
  13. Thanks for all the replies. All positive answers regarding the classic in terms of fun and rawness apart from MM review on crashes Looks like when I find the right car it sound be a blast.... Happy hunting
  14. Welcome along. Where are you based?
  15. By reading the replies it looks as if the owner has not been targeted, but the car itself. Sometimes having such a stand out car makes it much more liable for this type of attack. Cowardly, lowlife scum. I hope you get it sorted soon although it won't fill you with confidence putting it back on your drive. Don't let these pr!cks win...
  16. Fun = Impreza STi Memories = 1.2 Clio Pulling = Celica T Sport Reliability = Impreza STi Impreza STi Celica TS
  17. ....*is away to find a well looked after Type R Thanks for the replys guys. Just what I was looking for
  18. Seems pretty conclusive about what car is providing the fun...I enjoyed my newage emmencly so can't wait for a classic!
  19. Now that I'm "scoobieless" with the sale of my blob today I'm looking at getting a classic that I can use on the track. It will by no means be a dedicated track car as I will use the car at weekends etc so will be still driven on the queens highways. In my mind just now I'm looking for a Type R to do the job. Has anyone made the jump from Newage to Classic and what where your experiences and opinions on the differences? I know there are a few members that have both and would just like to know if you think a Type R for the wieght saving/looks/price would be the best way to go for a fast road/track set up? Any input welcomed
  20. It's not just condensation from all this cold weather is it?
  21. Nice! Looking forward to the pictures and like most I think the hatch has really grown on me. And i'll second the service from Grieve's. Top notch!
