  1. any pics/spec of it yet? Blue?
  2. Aye aye.... a bit more of a hooligans car than the TT eh!
  3. .... let him
  4. good read as always..... I'll be going backwards at brands with 280bhp LOL
  5. it should be..... will i be in the coutry... i hope so. I will have everything crossed If not.... I'll do my ARDS and get doing some door to door stuff
  6. your wheel fell to bits!!!! Holy ****. Did you bang it hard on something, or was it just mid corner? What wheels were they?!
  7. his times got better later on.... but going from the sessions they did look to have a prob (i wasnt there) CP Warm Up 1:13.097 - prob just getting to know the track CP Practice 1:10.798 and only 1 lap CP Qualifying 1:05.7 - 9 laps must have been better CP Final 1:05.1 - not a bad time!
  8. Fee got 7th in class, and a handy 40 points I think. Russ from Wallace Performance got 5th in class and 3rd in Qual. Gambler/Scott got 8th in class. Looking at Fee's trap speeds at the end of the back straight she has pretty big balls as i think thats a braking zone haha. The start/finish speed trap is on the power. results for club class final John Stevenson looked to have probs all day with the times he posted, Andy Napier was in the 1:05's too i think. Full Results here - http://www.tsl-timing.com/attack/2009/92270.pdf
  9. rebuilt Fee's old 4 pots and the Skylines OE 4 pots a few years back. Its not hard. Subaru do a refresh kit for them, includes covers/grease etc. You can also clean up the pistons with fine wet n dry
  10. www.sparkplugs.co.uk - always been reasonable enough and quick for us
  11. mine does the same.... std down pipe and front/centre THEN tapers up to 3" for the HKS ( i think rear bit)
  12. even bolt in's are 'interesting' at best LOL
  13. ok, i get what the problem is now. The main hoop seems to wide for the roof space. I cant really give any help. Going by what we were told, it should fit both. I'm sure some big hammers, a grinder and some welding will sort it all out
  14. Chris - as said above.... Fee ordered the cage through Demon Tweeks. They stated it was for 2 and 4 door. Does everything else look to fit into place?
  15. here is a link to a few pics of what seems to be a sparco weld in http://www.vexperformance.com/project001.html (looks altered a bit though) sparco diagram thingy - not sure how acruate these are type 1a/b
  16. they arent sparco's... just dash dodgers and half cages
  17. i'm sure this is my cage Ian's on about LOL see here.... i'm kinda harping on about the mounting area on the floor... they should be the same.... # Just spoke to Fee too - the cage is universal for GC8 imprezas (4dr/2dr) (she ordered it) this looks to be the same/similar cage in Dill's typeR
  18. have a look at a safety devices cage (in a 4dr) at the B piller, its back a bit. not sure on this cage make, but you can see in a 4dr it doesnt sit right at the B piller
  19. The cages are the same for 2dr and 4dr i think.... i hope I'm sure the roof line and floor pan are the same heights as each other :/ I know custom cages do one for a 4dr/2dr and one for a 2dr only
  20. More updates - to make it up to MSA blue book standards for multiple series'. Fancy a round or two of TimeAttack (basically to MSA regs), and some rounds of the Nippon Challange - MSA regs. Hopefully with the new downpipe and exhaust the car will still come in under 300hp or my plans for the GT300 class in the Nippon are scuppered Dont fancy racing it in the GT500 Might need to get some changes to the map done So.... bought.... OMP FIA 495mm HighProfile side mounts for seat OMP FIA weld in seat frame bars LifeLine FIA 2.25 plumbed in extinguisher MSA approved Rain Light 2x Master cut off switches (1 for cabin, 1 for exterior) Car is away getting FIA Multipoint cage welded in as of today I have the BEST WIFE IN THE WORLD (fee)! She organised this for my birthday Type 1B below. I'm also considering buying one of those arch rolling things (arm with a skateboard wheel) to roll the aches, maybe even flare them, to get some 225 tyres under the arches. Anyone got any tips before I dive in and wreck my lovely clean arches?
  21. ok, cool.... thats answered my query about 225's then! May try them in the future once I've flared the arches a bit 215/45/17 it is for now then!
  22. yep, Thats Fee's feet.... no idea!
  23. exhaust pics are on page2, but only in the box. Not sure when it'll be fitted. Its the smaller 'scoobysport' type tailpipe, not the large garish 5" slash 'jap' one. Just hoping the exhaust will be nice and quiet to keep noise police at tracks happy.
