  2. welcome to the fold m8, bo you have a after market dump valve ?? could be that you need a new spring as the boost pressure is pushing it open

  8. welcome to the fold m8, the rear shocks knock due to the grease in them drying up, it is kind of the norm for newage 2001 on, most people use camskill for the replacements or BC coilovers other than the rear shocks all the rest is good, make sure it has a full service history and you should only run the scoob on v-power or super as a minimum to get the full power out of the car

  11. it could have been a subaru dealer brining the car in this way the wifes last blobeye sport was brought in this way, the car is the same as a uk car but it is a import but was still covered by full subaru warranty as they brought a lot of scoobs into the country this way

  13. i have the slotted ones from aztec also got the kevlar pads as they were free at the time had them on for one run and changed them out, very good for every day and a wee blast but not a good run, i changed them to mintex with good results also i changed to DOT 5.1 fluid when changing discs, if you are changing your fluid use 5.1 as DOT5 dosnt mix with DOT3 or 4 as its synthetic, spenno it would have been 5.1 in yours this is the discs i have from them, had them on about 2 years and not had any probs at all (apart from a sticking piston) i painted the centres black
  14. welcome to the fold m8, i would swap the wheels back/front and see, the bridgstones seem to tramline from what i have heard also what tyre pressures are you running ?? as this can contribute
  15. that is prodrive (member name) he had the system with NO boxes at all in the system he only had it on for 2 weeks as it was so loud, same as the rodger clark "team ice" system

  18. go for a full geo check not an alignment, but everything what tyres are you running and at what pressure ??
  19. i did mine when the wife had some m8's round, i went into my man cave back box that i have in the garage, cleaned with bilberry wheel cleaner 1st, then onto tardis tar remover, followed by metal cleaner more tardis and the rotary polisher this was it to start with just onto the 2nd go with metal cleaner and more tardis and how it looked once i had finished with the rotary polisher and some old pads by the time i was done the last of the mrs m8's were just away good few Hrs spent in man cave
  20. fitted the 290lph fuel pump today it has been in the garage for about 6 months i thought i should fit it also a set of WR1 sideskirts i'v just put away till paint time
