  1. I would be tempted just to get them refurbished in black if it were me - would look fantastic!
  2. Not all that local but it is a very tidy scoob and a bloody good price as well imho:
  3. D Day isn't it?!? Have fun mate and make sure you get some pics up eh!

  6. Welcome back Iain. Hope things are starting to get more settled for you now. Sad to see the car up for sale, you've put a lot of work into her but I guess if needs must eh. Anyway, would be good to see things get moving again on a regional level
  7. Congrats on the new role. Really great to see the uplift in positivity within the club
  8. Glad it's all getting sorted Thanks Dale, Andy.
  9. As I understood it Dale's (thefastone) email covered this didn't it. I was under the impression that he was appyibg membership to your accounts post sign up?
  10. The username you're posting under and the username you say you want match, I'm confused as to what the issue is? Could you elaborate please?
  11. The majority would've been at work mate Welcome to SIDC
  12. In which case, I've a trailer full of goodies that yourself and Jamie might be interested in - especially with Action Day coming up I'll try and remember to PM once you're all set with the RO Status
  13. I'm here... but then I rarely log out so I guess I don't count
  14. Awesome stuff Col, you're giving a lot of high mileage diesels a run for their money. Not only that but she drives like she's only just been run in!
  15. Seconded - keep it going folks, there's a real sense of positivity in the air at the moment and that's REALLY good to see!
  16. Hi Michael and welcome to SIDC That's a lovely looking Impreza you have there and equally stunning scenery! Your 3rd Impreza at 22, that's some good going! I'm impressed! By the way, your English is far better than my French so don't worry!
  17. Yep, there's still a few lurking in the shadows
  18. Back on topic: Welcome to the SIDC Hoobinator
  19. Edmondo, please refrain from personal insults especially considering the standpoint you have previously taken with regards to similar matters. Is it not time to let sleeping dogs lie and inject a bit of positivity into the region?
  20. They're moving back to SIDC
  21. Salary?!? Errrm, no club positions are paid chap, volunteer roles only
  22. Firstly, apologies for the expletives in my earlier post - it wasn't neccessary and there are more reasonable ways of expressing my frustration so again, please accept my apologies. That said, I still stand my my original point, and my frustraion stems from the fact that every one of you were given the opportunity to either express your thoughts and/or get involved to make a difference. We can only go on the opinions expressed before a decision is made, we have no magic crystal ball - we can't predict what's going to happen or if someone will disagree with a decision. Time and time again we see the same pattern, members (and quite rightly non-members) will be asked for input or their opinion on a matter and the response isn't exactly forthcoming. Only once said decision is made do members pipe up with their concerns. Every one of the committee care deeply about the club and sometimes, as a result, it's difficult to restrain that. There's not one committee member who hasn't gone out of their way to do their absolute best for the club with nothing but good intentions so it's incredibly frustrating to see those good intentions called into question over what was essentially a mistake. Again, apologies for the expletives, I tend not to post on the off the cuff but the earlier posts truck a chord.
  23. You can still buy from the f/s section member or otherwise. Only members can post ads though.
  24. It's all there in the Oct TG - a full report from the club questionnaire and that was the single biggest gripe members had - not enough value to being a member. Like it or not, we can only go by the majority.
  25. Said Committee member should've kept their mouth shut the because it's NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. I would go as far as saying that if I find who it was chatting such shit I'll be having words at the AGM. That said, what the **** are you all whining about - you've been told time and time again, support the club or lose it. As a result, the f/s and wanted areas were restricted in order to encourage more member sign ups and renewals - it's working AND WILL NOT BE CHANGING. it's for the good of the club and I can't see, going by your comments, how any one of you can take issue with that. Every single one of you were given the opportunity to contribute to the running of the club and it's future direction and the vast majority couldn't be arsed - how is that our ****ing fault?!? You were all also given opportunity to vote in the survey, very few bothered with that either. THE RESULTS OF THE SURVEY WERE PUBLISHED IN TRUE GRIP IN THEIR ENTIRITY. It's attitudes like this that make me wonder why the **** I bother. I'm away for a week now so feel free to bitch and moan all you like. Just try and remember, there's a LOT happening within the club over the coming year - all for YOUR benefit. Because it hasn't been announced yet, doesn't mean it's not happening.
